  • At the moment to aquire 5 purples in the AH store you're looking at 4-5 million AD, Next a Dragon Eggs usually costs you around 100K-120K AD. Next with the max bonus for five purples you have a 40% chance to craft a Tier 3 (Gemmed) item at level 20 over a 2 day crafting wait (Nobody wants the T2 rare purples). And all…
  • When Ulthor the Mad Axeman turned up to Quest for the Hidden Riches of the Mad Necromancer "Brian", drunk and wearing some clothes that was given to him by an Elf when he lost his armour in a game of dice (you can laugh, ever seen an Elf in Dwarf armour?). First his wife left him in anger, then his fellow dwarf adventurers…
  • Put in a ticket, one prolly will not do anything. But if the player is doing this kind of thing a lot.....banhamster time
  • I think in time you'll see all the P2P races available to all. But you'll see them continue with this model so that impatient numpties like me keep paying cus I JUST CAN'T WAIT. So I'd assume you'll see 2-3 P2P races in game untill each race becomes "old news" and the then released to all. Its all about the "Hype" see ;)
  • Well until they make the stuff needed to craft those dyes common as muck and move the crafting time down to 5 mins, I doubt you'll see em at the cheap prices you would like :) As a crafter I can tell you at the moment most of the craft stuff isn't wanted and the "few" items players do want....well those players do like…
  • If I go down in the final boss fight and the rest of the group manages to go on and defeat it I do feel "honourbound" to pass on the boss loot (the chest rewards are enough). I take each time I go down as a learning point and try to adjust the strategy for the next fight. Whats going wrong with PUGs is the lack of…
  • I think one of the things that needs to go are the excessive knockbacks from companions (I have an Cant Wiz and its crazy the way it flings MoBs around). Instead of KBs, make the current KB abilites simply trigger a "Prone" state (thus you still have the interrupt from the companion without causing the extra adds to a…
  • Yup, I have both. And I never use the Panther. Damage wise its about the same as the Direwolf (per hit), however the LONG animation for the "pounce" effectively lowers DPS and also means that the mob you targeted is usually down by the time if it actually decides to move/attack. I've actually found the Panther to be worse…
  • "Krugan the Berzerker spent a little TOO long in the UV Tanning Salon"
  • Ward are available from both the cash shop and with invocation coins (save up for a week). Alas player are levelling so fast in this game that this throttle on aquiring wards via invocation is causing some level of frustration. My way around things is to level multiple alts to "farm" invocation coins (so I get six ward…
  • Only thing I don't like about using the hall of alterations is the fact when you try and alter your toons looks it actually loads one of the presets rather than your current character. So rather than "alter" or "tweak" you character looks, you actually have to begin again from the start :(
  • Could work, only problem is greedy players who would quite happily sell it to a vendor rather than let it go (if they have items better than the one being rolled on). For me the simple solution would be akin to CO. All items are automatically rolled on and dropped into your inventory (no more scrabbling about the floor…
  • As far as the rumor mill has it, when they release the "vanilla" drow these will be sans renegade tattos and will have slightly different racial abilities. On the Zen market, I can see why they added mounts account wide (they aren't that useful in game as the zones aren't that big), companions being character only is one…
  • True dat (kinda forget when you have a lifetime sub). These days both games have either lifetimers or free to pay players (not seen many pay monthly subs still active). But we digress......
  • Possible, as STO and CO "morphed" into FTP from a sub game with micro transactions. But these games are currently running in exactly the same way as Neverwinter (solely funded by Zen Store purchases). Don't get me wrong, I'll spend money but Neverwinter is the first time I've gone "nope" in a Cryptic game.
