I play Teifling. I like the way the head horns protrude though they could use an increase in size and shape options. The only gripe I have about them is the way the chin horns clip through the headgear. It just looks ridiculous until we get our hands on a faceless helm.
I guess I was more or less responding to this way of thinking. Some people are assuming that the stealth ability is an "invisibility". It's not. If I read correctly when an opponent has line of sight and locks on to a TR, before he goes stealth, then he maintains lock on. When an opponent does not have line of sight, and…
I think we need to break the stealth mechanic down to the pen and paper version to understand how it works. It is not an invisibility or a non-targetable condition. In v3.0 and v3.5 it consisted of 2 separate skills: Hide- the ability to move unseen, and Move Silently- the ability to move unheard. In v4.0 those 2 skills…
Lol now that is just foolish. I'm sorry to point this out but I have 4 characters currently and I haven't spent a single penny. If you have the disposable income that's great but $100 per character is in no way normal for the average player. On top of that as for the original post, I may be wrong but I'm thinking the…
I have noticed on my TR that the mask is the skin for a blue item. All of my blues, save the pirate hat, have been masks. All of my greens have been the silly hat, which looks ridiculous on a Tiefling, so I just don't show the head gear.
I guess I wouldn't call it solo if your team is casting spells that bypass the barrier and distract some of the mobs to help you... I guess congrats anyway good job.
I wouldn't call the Rogue a true dual wield class. They do use two daggers but the only attack abilities that utilize them both is the at wills, all the encounters and dailies focus on one hit more or less. To me a true dual wield class would use multi strike abilities throughout. Otherwise I agree it would make more sense…
[h=3]Archendale[/h][h=3]Daggerdale[/h][h=3]Freedale [/h][h=3]High Dale[/h][h=3]Scardale[/h][h=3]Shadowdale [/h] The Dalelands were always a favorite of mine. I actually had a PnP character retire to Archendale.
Lol I don't want to be one either. If I die I want to stay dead. In game terms I go far out of my way to destroy any undead I have ever come across because I too feel they are unnatural and should not exist at all. That said I still really enjoy watching 28 Days Later and The Walking Dead because they don't try to glorify…
Bah undead are awesome some of my favorite DnD monsters. When people think undead they usually think of that twilight garbage, but there are sooo many more it's ridiculous. I love the Haunted Lands trilogy by Richard Lee Byers. He really kindled the love of undead I now harbor.
True but most likely the "Ranger" class will only be an archer type and not melee. Also all classes have some form of ranged attack, maybe it would be a rush attack like the GFs.
If they stick to a loose 4e build like they have so far the Ranger will be a striker with single target dps, but with actual two weapon attacks and some minor aoe damage. It would have encounters and dailies that utilize flashy dual weapon strikes with a little "splash" damage to adjacent foes. Their utility is a parry…
Draezen Darkholme Neutral Good Human Fighter (4th Level) Ability Scores: Strength-14 Dexterity-18 Constitution-15 Intelligence-13 Wisdom-14 Charisma-13 Details: Quiet and reserved around strangers, slow to trust and accept new companions, but sharp of wit and tongue with those familiar to him. Too much time spent in crowds…
If you are telling us you are an alpha and discussing the high level gameplay, that's breaking your NDA isn't it? Also the "Alpha" and "level 60" that you made sure to point out aren't jawdropping. I did not wet myself when I found out we had king among us paupers.
Sorry for derailing the thread. The GWF's I've seen seem to be far weaker than necessary. Even if The dmg nerfs stay and they return the maneuverability it will be a vast improvement.
The Bait and Switch "clone" summon time was nerfed too. Just because you don't like a certain class don't sit there and try to feed misinformation to the rest of us.
