  • I haven't used it on a Paladin, but I have confirmed that the enemy damage debuff is not working. The regular damage resistance debuff is working like it's supposed to though.
  • sentinels will be just fine, they'll be hard to kill still and still do decent damage. they will just have to give up some tankiness for dps and vice versa which is the way it should be and should always have been. sentinels will still be able to hit plenty hard for pvp and in pve they shouldn't be worried about damage…
  • well it is kinda ridiculous for a T1 set to be considered BiS for anything. however, keep in mind there is a power rework, the set hopefully will not end up garbage. if it does i'll just go back to stacking power and attempting to post moderate damage numbers. i'm just hoping there are actually hard dungeons released in…
  • ^ if they feel like they have to nerf the damage then they should also increase the target cap like they did with frontline surge. i don't see it as a highly overpowered attack that's in need of a complete nerf so they should do something to keep it useful. a 45% damage reduction is huge and i don't understand how such a…
  • In general i like this round of changes. GWF's should have to make a dps sacrifice to be tanky and this appears to be a step in that direction. I'm intrigued by the power re-work, hopefully this means it will be a more significant stat than it currently is.
  • pretty much this exactly. i don't understand how they could possibly release this update after so many people gave them the same exact negative feedback throughout the entire testing period. they came up with a complex solution to a simple problem that failed to even fix said simple problem. easy pvp fix: rollback to…
  • wishful thinking..they clearly don't care what we think or they would have actually listened to EVERYONE who said the same thing regarding these changes throughout the entire testing process. either they don't read what we write, or they simply don't care.
  • currently, arranged premade vs premade matches occur regularly every day between guilds. hopefully the upcoming pvp update with matchmaking and leaver penalties won't completely kill that as it will push away many of the serious pvp players that still play neverwinter. these matches are currently very easy to arrange once…
  • I'm going to have to disagree with there being no counter to geared sentinels. In a proper match with relatively similar geared players a sentinel GWF can be countered by any class that can throw them off point or force them to leave the point to avoid being killed. a skilled GF can knock a GWF off point repeatedly and put…
  • ^good post. there are multiple builds of every class that are viable and able to assist a group in clearing any content in the game. just play the class you want and play it well and you will find people who appreciate what you do.
  • it's just a form of movement to utilize. since character movement is so important in this game why would a skilled player ignore something that helps give them greater mobility or causes their opponent confusion? nothing wrong, just figure out how to move better yourself or learn to keep track of jumpers so you can counter…
  • fwiw i believe there are plans to fix the threatening rush cancel time meaning the attack will have to go through it's entire animation before you can reactivate it. the biggest problem is that they simply copied the GF's IV powers over to the GWF without any changes which was just asking for these problems. the…
  • well luckily there are plans to add in a Elo ranking system for matchmaking in the upcoming pvp update.
  • Ironically I've been enjoying my guardian fighter, which has been my main since beta, more than I have in a long time during the past few weeks in both PvP and PvE.
  • I like the look of this patch, it gives me hope that things are progressing in the right direction and that this will all work out to be a good thing when it's all settled. It seems like the devs are listening to constructive feedback from us and I encourage people to keep that in mind when they feel like their class is…
  • Yes. The most notable being griffons wrath and anvil of doom, both are sped up greatly to the point where they are actually usable and viable options in combat now, whereas before they were too slow to hit anything not cc'd. Lunging strike has been greatly buffed as well, longer range and substantially more damage…
  • Agreed 100% Trace. The balance issues people have in PvP's aren't class imbalance issues they're gear issues. I've watched highly skilled BiS players of different classes 1v1 numerous times and I must say, they're pretty well balanced across the board when played correctly, excluding people who use broken…
  • ditto, mine does pretty well assuming i'm not forced to take on most of the enemy team on my own...as for dungeons and the rest of the game, i've soloed every quest and tend to be pretty useful in dungeons with decent numbers across the board. as far as people having problems getting aggro away from the clerics and others…
  • sounds like a play style problem to me. i'm level 50 something and while i might not take down enemies as quickly as other classes i'm not much slower and often score good kill numbers as well as damage numbers in dungeons. fwiw, griffons wrath fully leveled does a lot for your single target damage as you get 3 swings with…
