Two weeks...so far. I've been in MWO "open beta" for months now and you'll be in open beta with neverwinter for months as well. That's the new standard thanks to sheeple like yourself who don't ever question the bonds being placed on them. Consumer rights trump business rights. This was already an industry where consumers…
I did no such thing. I knew exactly what it was when I installed it: a perpetual beta launch which is exactly what every other fracking final release launch is... I only have a problem with people who are trying to make a distinction between a perpetual beta and a final release launch when there are no actual distinctions…
Release: Release to manufacturing (RTM) "The term does not define the delivery mechanism or volume; it only states that the quality is sufficient for mass distribution." Neverwinter is being distributed in mass even tho it's unlikely it will ever be in a retail store. General availability (GA) "General availability (GA) is…
Enlighten us to exactly what changes take place when the game goes from open beta to final? Are there no more patches? Are there no more feedback and bug reporting features? Are there no more content releases? Are subscriptions put in place? etc. What exactly is going to change from this state to the next? NOTHING!
So the only difference between a launch and a beta test is the label? Thanks. We knew this already... The fact is that even after an "official release" the fracking games are in an "open beta" according to your own definitions... They still have feedback threads on their forums, they still have bug reporting features in…
That is a relatively new concept of open beta/launch. Open beta was always the part just before launch when pre-orders, founders and etc got a head start and had nothing whatsoever to do with content not being released yet. All content(races, classes, zones and etc)was in game at open beta except for maybe end game…
You've never stepped up to my level so I haven't a clue as to what you're talking about. Can I ask you another question tho? So, who peed in your gene pool?
I laughed when you opened your liehole. Try actually refuting the points made in the article...I'll wait..for however long it takes for you to come up with some BS "argument."
I and many others have already squashed your "argument" a thousand times over... I don't want to take up your time - you've got crosses to burn, mayonnaise sandwiches to eat, pro-wrestling to watch, etc. etc.
Your lack of logic is amusing. You take a swipe at people for criticizing the game on the forums while the ONLY thing you are doing is making excuses and singing praises for the game on the forums...LOL!!!! IN OTHER WORDS, TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE, SHUT UP AND PLAY THE GAME.
Look, dummy. There are thousands of people who think shooting heroin is FUN...it doesn't fracking mean it's any good for them or that they aren't getting exploited tho. So what, you have fun in this game in it's current state. That doesn't mean you aren't getting shat on in the process. It just means you're too fracking…
The point of the OP had nothing whatsoever to do with what your or anyone else's opinion of gold buying is. I don't like your posts or even understand your rationale behind them but that doesn't mean you're going to stop posting any time soon...
Yeah. lol. We need to stop this BS practice of companies trying to merge the definitions of open beta and launched. If the only distinction between the two is the fact that open beta still has bugs then we may as well label all games open beta and be done with it.
Exactly. Not to mention, money is being exchanged for services, the NDA has been lifted, and bugs, fixes, and patches occur with launched games as well. I have no idea why anyone with a lick of sense would defend this questionable business practice of labeling an undeniably launched game as "open beta." By that very same…
I suggest you shut your liehole. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing open beta about this game. By your "logic" no game is EVER fracking launched because they are ALWAYS releasing patches...LOL!
Then it has launched, dillwad. Your circular reasoning is becoming legendary. If it's launched then they can't fall back on, "it's open beta, there are bound to be problems;" neither can the player base.
