A rollback was absolutely necessary, and it had to be done. Although time spent in game during that time was lost, the good outweighs the bad and I am content with this decision. Thank you for the swift action.
Just run T2s to get the set pieces. Beacon is great for a support/healer and Miracle Healer's is perfect for all-out healing. BiS weapons currently are the Ancient Symbol/Icon set from Castle Never.
I agree with this. Every fight is just CCing or killing adds while 2 DPS focus on boss because the boss doesn't hit hard, and has low defense.. just a whole ton of HP. The only boss that really has a fight mechanic is the first boss in Frozen Heart, I really enjoy that fight.
I'm going with Miracle Healer as well. The next set I would go for is the Beacon of Faith though, not the Grand Templar. Our guild's DPS cleric is going for Grand Templar since it would suit him better than a healing cleric. That 5% is just too good to pass up with all my defensive enchantments being the +HP ones.
So you're suggesting a fix to our threat issue by stating it's more advantageous to spec more into damage reduction, with astral shield so we heal just as well, but not as much in order to generate less threat?
Uhm.. there is a Buyout feature. Haven't you seen the button next to Bid (even if grayed out)? If you don't list a buyout amount, you can't currently buyout that item but most people do list a Buyout amount.
I was fortunate enough to have a group while leveling so I opted out for the Control Wizard companion. Though I don't think very useful except for it's knockback (that it uses randomly, whether or not mobs are around). As soon as I hit 60, I grabbed the Cat companion and haven't looked back.
Just curious if you went with the Miracle Healer set or the Beacon of Faith set... or maybe something else (Templar)? Also, I don't like Healing Word. It's always on cooldown and I usually just use it on myself to build Divinity, but still feels lacking. I switched it out for Sunburst where I can burst heal my allies, do…
I want to point out that everything on the market (except for TR gear) is really expensive because the first 5 days before Open Beta people had hundreds of thousands to millions of AD to spend. The game has a lot of money sinks at the moment but that's because the economy is flooded with AD. Shard Enchantments use to be…
I don't know about Brand of the Sun... Sacred Flame generates Divinity much faster than Brand of the Sun. Even if BoTS gains on dots, the chance of landing it on everything and keep it up seems like you're still just standing around attacking, and if so then it's just better with Sacred Flame.
I have a couple suggestions for you: 1. Start building more defense. Unspecifiederror has a great guide on being a Healer/OT 2. Get a regular group to run with, or educate your DPS that adds should always be the priority in boss fights. 3. Stick close to your tank. I use the Crit/Rec build with Astral Shield and…
This is a very important issue. Many times I have seen GF 'Need' on Very Rare TR gear simply because it was purple. Players should only be allowed to 'Need' on a class-specific items or items with no class restrictions. I would hate to start seeing excuses like, "It's for my friend" or "I'm saving for my alt." T.T
Whoever is in charge of the Wiki, can we request a section specifically for community created builds and guides? I guess anyone with expert experience in adding/creating content on Wiki's could do it too I suppose. I am thinking of something along the lines of a PvX wiki.
It means you have to have spent a total of 15 points in the previous skills before the next tier will unlock. Yes, you can only have two of the passives in the skill tree active at a time. It's a skill. Please elaborate.
I am curious to know your tips for throwing Healing Word on the tank and TR during major add spawns. I have noticed that Healing Word does target the ally closest to your reticle. Now that I ask, I wonder if you primarily use HW on the ranged where they are easier to target since you have both DS and FF up (which is a…
Neverwinter is based off of the 4th Edition of Dungeons & Dragons which has a large pool of classes to choose from. We currently see 5, with a few reports of a Warlock and a Ranger being confirmed as some of the first classes to be released shortly after open beta. You can look at a list of all the possible classes that we…
The Cat Companion has some pretty amazing stats for Crit/Recovery making it the most popular choice for Haste Cleric builds. With the +5% stat to owner enchantment, giving you an even higher bonus. I don't know the exact numbers off the top of my head but there are several threads in this forum and people were very…
Last night my client crashed (first time ever) and I was really worried that I would have to jump back into queue, but was able to play immediately after login. I assumed there was this grace period, but it seems that I was just incredibly lucky. A grace period is absolutely required, I agree. I would like to see the…
I just noticed this earlier as well. I have 2 R5 Azure enchants slotted for a total of 10% exp gain but my character stats only say 5% (0 + 4) on mouse over.
As a DC, the best tank companion is going to be the Galeb Duhr like everyone said. I however did not take him and opted for the cat instead because I was able to find a solid lvling group that had a GF and did not need Galeb. However, had I gone solo I definitely would've taken the rock golem.
