The problem is that Icewind Dull (sic) isn't worth nine days of your time. If there's any campaign you'd want to skip, it's this one. Storm King's Blunder (sic) would be second.
I've only found three myself: Palh 4: -1423 15 -1683 Palh 5: -349 -41 -2431 Palh 6: -39 120 -637 Google doesn't even have anything on these, looks like not too many people looking (or sharing if they are).
Peeked at this on PTS, not amused. This appears to be nothing more or less than a cash grab. Most of what my characters have will become worthless and I won't have the ADs to restake them. This doesn't inspire me to spend money just to tread water. It inspires me to stop playing.
I picked up the 100 incentive bag on the Bard I'd been leveling but it appears they simply vanished due to him having 194 incentives already. Comedy of errors, as usual.
The Linkletter quest line appears to be gone. (Haven't gotten to the Chasm yet.) This was the only quest line in the entire game that wasn't "just a bunch of stuff that happened". Zemmer's quests were pulled from Neverdeath. While they weren't essential to the narrative, they were at least funny. Edit: Oh, and you managed…
Doesn't the idea that a build that uses melee and ranged powers, given that cooldowns exist, will allegedly underperform one that uses only melee sound not just suspicious, but actually insane? Wouldn't such a case indicate that the designers have completely screwed the pooch? When we talk about viability of a class, that…
Funny, I've been running a stance-switching build the whole time and doing all right. It's mostly what this page calls "the bloody rooter": https://cloakalliance.wordpress.com/2019/03/02/basic-ranger-build-for-mod-16/ I expect that may change in m19; I haven't tried copying my character over to Test to try it because of…
The entire point of the Ranger class is that it uses both melee and ranged powers. Any approach that emphasizes one over the other, much less excludes one, is therefore wrong. If that's too hard to design then ditch the melee powers, turn the offhand into a quiver and call it a ranged/archer class. Rogues already exist;…
There are only two explanations for the design of this event: the designers are completely incompetent, don't play the game and can't do math, or, it's meant to frustrate you into paying for the buyout.
I purchased the $10 pack for both games despite already having the Dragonborn Legends pack in NW. Edit: Except it seems I managed to buy the PS4 bundles instead of PC. Oh well.
AcqInc doesn't need to be changed. It needs to be removed. It is profoundly not funny and outright tone-deaf, moreso now than when it was added. Leaders who are ready to let any of their underlings die as long as their profits go up? Sound familiar? None of my characters have run that content after the first one, who only…
21K Ranger, the second phase (day 7+) is pretty much a waste of time. Can't stand still long enough to mount any kind of offense, can't dodge nearly long enough.
They're bringing over the Event system from STO. Basically there will be a number of events that contribute to the Achievement store. Earn participation in all of them and you get the good stuff.
I can only conclude that there is *no one* left at Cryptic with any appreciation for storytelling. They have dial-twisters and artists in spades, but a compelling storyline is utterly lost on them. To be honest, the writing at Cryptic has always been abysmal. STO's storylines are complete garbage; you're better off never…
Remember, the theme song says "one is a genius, the other's insane" but it doesn't say which is which.... Ahem. Yeah, yanking Wilfred like this sucks. Bad call.
Attempting to run the repeated version of "Theft of the Crown" resulted in my Gith Ranger being booted back into the tutorial.... ...from which he could not leave, because the "Equip Your Gear" step wouldn't satisfy even if I took off everything and only equipped the newbie items.
