From the new patch notes: "•Alchemy: Fix for rare case where some people who were unable to continue leveling Alchemy." Hallelujah. But 'rare case'? Really? Can't they just own up to the problem without trying to make it seem like it wasn't that big a deal? Truly bad form, devs.

Huge new patch posted. Nothing about this fix. Not even a post anywhere to tell us it's still on the board. I'm running out of rationalizations for this development team. Very, very disappointing.

Bumping this. Any dev who is reading this, please realize that many of us have been stuck for over 2 weeks now and have gotten no useful response either in-game or in-forum. As far as I've seen in both threads, issue 1 is always associated with issue 2. Turning in the advancement quest from the gateway results in this bug every time while it never happens in-game. Anyone have different experience? And yes, while the response from the system designer here shows at least someone reads this…

Got my ticket answered just now. Generic response with no useful information and they changed status to resolved. I have responded back with a link to this thread as well as a brief comment on their initial response. I'll post if they update it.
