I've got to say, I never really thought D&D's editions should have put emphasis on the half-races. Same now with Neverwinter. But I don't mind Orcs, Elves, Dwarves or Halflings as full blown playable races. Because they have plentiful and unique backgrounds within much of the D&D settings, for near-humans. Now in following…
Ah! It didn't take long for the traditionalists to crop up, those miserable, self centered lot. I for one will shall note no heed of the above comment and still support those unique 'snow flake' races. Why? Because people I've played with, campaign wise, who've worked with one of those characters? Not only did it improve…
Nope. I've got HOTN and also am getting the message. For developers looking around, I've received this when trying to work with the launcher: "The patchclient got a message while it was in a state with no response."

Oh my, roleplaying is going to be difficult with all of the jumping horses trampling on everywhere possible. Not to mention those flaming chickens, spider infestations, golem invasions, wolf packs and demon ponies. Seriously, what was Cryptic honestly thinking? Were they smoking pot at the time and playing WoW?
Indeed, it does. Although I hear we'll be getting Dragonborn soon, which is a step in the right direction. These should also be added as playable species: Goliaths, Warforged, Genasi, Orcs, Gnolls, Kobolds, Thri-Kreen, Wilden, Yuan-Ti.
Awww! Look at that wittle ticklish but snuggleable mister man! Now I just want to cuddle that snuffly happy chompers untill he puffs out 'satisfactory smoke'.
Oh, now I like the Tiefling! She gives off this 'exotic' vibe that I'd usually only get when I'm watching a film like Star Wars. The elf on the other hand, I have to say, all round good sketch work and nice shading.
Now you're going to have to excuse me, KWsapphire, for my forth coming comment being off-topic. What an entirely drab concept for a modification that installs a grind requirement for any potential raider. Now don't get me wrong, I'd definitely blame Blizzard more for installing such a hamster wheel gear drip (as well as a…
Well one thing is for sure! It won't get as worse as Bioware Social Network. That place is run by HAMSTER chimpanzee writers on unicycles, rolling around the forum like they own the place.
Well I'm not exactly sure on the specifics, but if they use a different skeleton? Then yes, it'd be hard. Same with the Orcs, Gnolls etc. which would probably require one to rig the model over to a new skeleton. That in itself could look off in comparison to their brethren NPCs. Even if not so, their models need editing.…
I suppose the title of 'Old School D&D Player' is apt for my time with the game. But it does make me feel older than I am, as well as a lot more geeky than I am.
Ah yes, nothing better than to wield a gythka and best your enemies both ways! Though, I myself am more one for a chatkcha's subtle finesse, out of a choice of the two.
It'd be nice to see some playable Thri-Kreen in the future, as well. With the Shaar turned into a desolation after the Spellplague, some might have migrated west. Definitely would make for some interesting events in Neverwinter.
I've been wondering about this myself since they released the monster manual on gnolls, kobolds and orcs. As an old D&D player who used to work with primarily 'monster' characters, I'd honestly love to try one out.
