The worst thing is they keep adding special claimable rewards that are "account-bound", but flagged slightly differently so they don't stack with the rest of account-bound items.
Top 5 in DF usually goes to the people who focus on taking down Empowerers. As far as I know it doesn't improve your voucher rewards, so don't worry about it.
No, you're mixing 2 things up: the SH map has a 40-player cap. Dragonflight dragons have a 20-player cap-- if more than 20 people are at a given dragon, it will go immune to damage.
A thank you shout-out from Protectors of Rabbits! :) We've already participated in multiple 4-dragon DFs and edemos, etc. Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. I'll try to get more people talking on Discord. :p And I was totally skeptical about this aspect of alliances, but everyone is cross-donating to other…
In other threads I have suggested an added weekly quest for 2000 Influence. For one, it nearly doubles possible influence earning -- which I think we need -- and for another, it lets the once-a-week players feel like they're contributing meaningfully to the guild..
I just came to the forums to post that I was crashing when I clicked on the "Stronghold" tab in the guild page. I believe we are upgrading Stables right now, so there's another data point.
Yep, the large human statue behind him faces the same way -- which makes sense for it, since it's against a wall. But the lion is free-standing, and really should face the entrance.
I suggested this in the Alliances thread on Preview: How about treating influence gain like campaigns, and have a weekly quest for 2000 Influence, as well as the daily SH task. This way the people who only log in on the weekends can actually contribute in a meaningful way.
Rather than just queuing up and hoping other people will also queue, go to the zone that the skirmish is from (in this case, Rothe Valley), and ask in /zone for other people to run the skirmish. You are very likely to find other people who want to complete it.
Since we have a dev talking about influence: maybe one way to deal with it would be to treat it more like campaigns, where there is a weekly task that gives you a big chunk of campaign currency, and daily tasks that give you a smaller amount that totals more than the weekly quest. If you added a weekly quest for say 2000…
There's a fair amount of information in this thread. Basically, you have a chance of getting potions, enchantments, gear, RP stones, and maybe other stuff -- and the results get better with the higher total ranks of Quartermaster's Enchantments. What matters is the rank of your enchantments when you open the bags, not when…
The Astral Shield thing is a myth, based on the fact that both Astral Shield and Astral Seal are abbreviated as AS. Astral Seal causes lag, Astral Shield does not. For paladins, being Justice-specced with the feat Prism can cause lag if you use a daily, so OPs who do a lot of large-group activities should probably not take…
Since you can visit guilds in your alliance, people in smaller guilds can do Masterwork professions by talking to the Artisan in the Helm guild. Access to Masterwork profession, higher-level Marketplaces and Joining forces for Dragonflight are some of the bonuses for the Gauntlet guilds to look forward to.
Starting last week, the game has been freezing up every time I try to inspect someone who is not in front of me. It doesn't matter which map I'm on, and it happens whether I am inspecting by right-clicking a name from the chat screen or right-clicking a name from a queue group. Using ctrl-f to inspect someone in view still…
Well, that's the thing: arms/Gauntlets are above mainhand/Sword on your character screen -- so the character screen order does not help you remember what the guild hierarchy order is. I'd just go Alpha/Beta/Gamma myself -- much clearer. I think they're trying to be more fantasy than Star Trek, but it's not clear at all…
I had to pull this out: for one, there is no "reset" in Arcane Reservoir; it's random what you get any week. For another, whether the RP you get is gray, green, blue or purple -- it always adds up to the same number of refinement points.
If you need surplus equipment, get all your guildies to put Quartermaster's Enchantments in their utility slots. Rank 7 QM enchantments will ensure mostly Spoils of War drops -- and though opening them might only give you rank 2 enchantments or low level potions if you just have 1 or 2 rank 7s, you can drop the Spoils in…
Why run to the bugged guard to see if he has a diamond over his head? Just look to your left (when facing the Master of Coin): if that guard has the diamond, you're good to go. Otherwise abandon and re-take until that happens. Note that it takes a second or two for the dialogue symbol to appear, so wait a few seconds…
Oh come on, there's obviously some exploit they need to stop -- most likely related to the Siege profession. Why would canceling an event be an effective marketing ploy?
Some interesting ideas here. I think I agree with @loboguild that sharing boons will make it seem unnecessary to rank up the lower guilds, beyond adding to the total alliance guild levels -- which can be abused. Any Gauntlet guild that gets removed from its alliance will be in big trouble if they've been spending their…
What do you mean old numbers? The numbers haven't changed. Look at the rightmost column, that is the raw RP value. Multiply by 2 for matching type of gear (or by 4 if you do it on a double-refinement weekend). For matching weapon/offhand, multiply by 4 since they are always double-RP. Gear has a chance to crit, so you can…
I've been using a couple Salvager's Enchantments rank 7 for a while -- just for something different to have in utility slots. The drops included minor resonance stones, injury kits, potions and unidentified gear, Upgrading from rank 7 is supposed to increase the value of those drops, I don't have any data on that. Even if…
