Same thing happened to a guildy and me, we two manned it at lvl 40 and the exact thing is happing to us.It was tough just two, burned 100 potions easy,was in que forever and couldnt get group.

You may have to drop the quest and retry keeping all the mobs in there and try logging out and in and hopefully they respawn right there. I have tried that still mobs vanish,my companion does to.I have fell beneath terrain but didnt see any mobs had to /killme to get out of that,couldnt just relog, i was still there under the terrain.Pretty much have tried everything so i just give up until its fixed i guess.

As much as i want a ranger , this does make sense the way they have the two warriors allready set up.
