Maybe do it "right" the first time ? As in there have been MULTIPLE exploits going on , one in particular that was in STO also , I'd counter back to you handling it "right" would be fixing this BEFORE they start selling anything. That's where they should take their time at. Maybe they should spend more time coding…
If they release it instead of calling it beta they then get even more flack for the exploit-a-thon that's been going on. I don't expect it anytime soon. They can call it beta all they want , no wipes , charging for products , as many other gaming sites have pointed out , that's not beta by most folks definition.
This exploit has been on multiple sites for days now , (and probably around a lot longer honestly just not publicized). Avoiding the obvious lack of Q/A to begin with , why does it take you all so long to actually react to publicized exploits ?
Hey NW devs , leave out anything about aggro , I get that's too complex for you to get to and fix. How about a word on that guardian fix for block. You broke it last weekend-ish , just let us know if it's done and you can't/won't at least fix it back to where it was working before , the continued silence is just another…
Translation , yes it most likely at some point will be required , as otherwise you'd say no it will just be an option. Gotcha. Honestly I'm hoping I'm wrong , let's just say with the current PWE track record of how well they let exploits through their games , I don't have much faith in installing something like this from…
I'd be all for the gelatinous cube pet , especially if it was stats only, the other pets while I enjoy them are sadly useless because of getting killed far too quickly. I would like to see what their reasoning is in any that this is a "controller" pet ?
Impossible , Panderus has already said Nothing has changed , L2P , Something had to give , In this very thread , which he got his wittle feelings hurt in and is not coming back to. There's no way he would post that without actually confirming first is there ? ;)
That dev should not imply nothing has changed , working as intended , use your block quicker and leave it up (rofl)then later throw in a "something had to give" for the main mechanic of the class. Like it or not the Dev in this thread did nothing but throw gasoline onto the fire.
Add "often wrong" to their short and sweet posts and you'd have it nailed. Yes , my one class I want to play has had it's main mechanic broken , and the dev reply insinuating it's always been this way is something that pissed me off. I should expect this by now from Cryptic though.
Again , the DEV , that's right , the PAID DEVELOPER , should check into this , be aware of the facts , before making the post. Maybe he should use some reason and go to himself "hey there are LOTS of folks saying this broke as of last patch , I should check into that before saying everything is fine". Or better yet , Q/A…
Then he should not pipe in without checking things out first. Sort of the way things should be checked out before implementing into the actual game also ?
More and more angered by this reply. Block worked smooth and could be applied and dropped as needed before this patch. Everyone is noting this that has played a GF. Now you are hoping we didn't notice had badly you broke the mechanic trying to fix the ability to exploit it by advising us to "keep it up if we need it again…
Beyond insulting. This happened after your last patch , and you know it. You changed something on your end but don't want to admit it screwed up block. All the players saying it started as of last patch know it was working fine before. Pure BS.
