  • This, sir- I agree with. I think it should be spread evenly across the board. Sadly? It's really not.
  • All right. Let's pretend you're not trying to be condescending. You're missing the point. And since you're a fantasy fan, I kind of expect you to go on the defensive. However, we have a difference of opinion. Just because mine is different from yours, and I would not like to see certain things in my game and I voice an…
  • Right. Well, no one's said it should cater to what YOU want. Hell, I'll put it to you this way: All I'm saying is that we have plenty of it. There are also plenty of fantasy games and most of us would rather see something focused on Superheroes (for a change) than to get the scraps from Neverwinter's plate. But, I've spent…
  • Well, how would you feel if Neverwinter was starved for content, and let's just say that Asian elements aren't your thing- but you got 5 'costume sets' and expansions based on Samurai and Ninja?
  • Well, fantasy kids now have their own house to play in. Perhaps it should stay there. Enjoy.
  • Edit, NVM. Not worth it.
  • Because this game is out where it can be seen. And this topic is based on something between CO and Neverwhatever. Please refer to original post kthxbai.
  • Because what you want is in a minority compared to other things, and there is already plenty. I could always demonstrate this with enough time, but you're a squabbler looking for a fight and I don't think you're even worth me writing out this ent
  • Then let me put this in a way you might understand: I want to play a game with superheroes. I have plenty of 'fantasy' options available should I want to add that element to a character's appearance or background. However, I want superhero stuff first. If I were dead set on being a 'fantasy' hero, I'd be playing this game…
  • Like how Thor was such a major title in the comics? And if I'm not mistaken, that movie didn't do as well as Iron Man, Man of Steel, The Dark knight saga, or even X-Men. Not to mention? You look at his entire getup and it would be quite easy to say that it could work in other themes.
  • Yes, I'm quite aware of D-List heroes with 'fantasy' elements. That's cool, whatever floats your boat. It just kinda sucks when simple things like standard Superhero costumes, tech-related costumes, and other things get jumped in favor of these things. CO already has WAAAAAAY too much mysticism. Hell, the last zone is…
  • To be fair, CO has WAY too many fantasy type costumes. But a lot of pieces would look great here. I'm just still baffled as to why CO needed 3 different fantasy armor/clothing costume sets altogether.
  • How about we as gamers stop worrying about 'punishing people' for what we perceive as inconvenience communication that 'offends our sight', and simply just settle with an ignore feature. If you ignore them, you can't read what they say, and there is no longer a problem. Spam penalty, if it exists at all, should be an hour.
  • Fixed, thanks for pointing this out.
  • Cryptic! Welcome to the family! With Cryptic/PWE, failure isn't an option. It's a way of life.
  • People like you are exactly what we didn't want on Cryptic games, to be fair- spewing insults, etc. The man's statement has more merit than yours by a long shot. Now, please take your elitism elsewhere. You are otherwise welcome to stay behind and play with the rest of the people who aren't somehow convinced they're better…
  • Hahaha... no, it's probably true. If by 'finished' you mean 'in maintenance mode'. That's the trend.
  • Don't worry- Neverwinter will be in the same shape within a year. Star Trek is slipping as well, with a mountain of problems. And rest assured that when Cryptic's next idea comes along Neverwinter will be in the dumpster with the rest of us. And if someone thinks this is trolling, we're not. But in good conscience, none of…
  • If you hate facebook, remember this: Your entire experience on there revolves around the people you have accepted as 'friends'. So, maybe it's not facebook that sucks, maybe it's your friends? Seriously, I've been able to see a whole new side of people through facebook and burned a few bridges with no remorse.
  • I've got a new favorite thing to do on facebook. Wait for someone to share one of those "OMG I DID NOT KNOW THIS! SHARE AND SPREAD THE WORD!" posts. Use 'Google' and check the facts on it, like any intelligent person would before spreading information. Link it below in the person's comments and give an explanation as to…
  • So they changed the story from the comic. Big deal. It happens all the time, because let's be honest- a movie and a comic book are two different things and don't always translate well. I liked how they changed it, it made for a good movie. I don't want to pay 8 bucks for something I've read a dozen times already.
  • And this is also kind of illegal, and it's probably a bad idea to advertise stealing on the forums. I don't morally object to it- I just find it ironic that people disagreeing with someone can have their post removed, but you can openly advertise that you commit crimes.
  • Sadly, this was the one thing that disappointed me the bost. Character customization is what Cryptic does best.... and, bafflingly enough they totally dropped the ball and made the appearance customization just like every other boring MMORPG out there.
  • The sad part about it is, I stated a preference. People who have been slogging through this failure of a game called Neverwinter somehow have, in the course of a few days, realized that it is far superior as fact. Sorry, but stick around kids- Cryptic's track record will soon be here.
  • The trinity of classes? You mean that same old thing that every fantasy game keeps doing to imitate WoW's success? Yeah, Guild Wars 2 did something different, and this Neverworking HAMSTER offers what- four classes? Five? Yawn.
  • As of this morning, Neverworking online was deleted from my computer. The ONLY salvagable part of Champions Online is the roleplaying. If I want to play a REAL game, I play Guild Wars 2- they have this awesome feature where they don't f**k stuff up all the time, it's pretty cool. You should try it.
  • For all you poor saps that think this is 'just new' for Cryptic... Get used to them dropping the ball and failing hardcore. If you think this will be any better because it bears your precious Dungeons and Dragons IP, you're sadly mistaken. They can't stop HAMSTER up in Star Trek or Champions. Give this game a year, and…
  • That issue is called 'stupid ideas like releasing the game before it was ready on a server with two other games'.
  • That's cute and fine and all, but it's crashing other games being played by people who want nothing to do with this steaming HAMSTER. Hey, GW2 is better.
  • Hey, hotshot- it's Crashing ALL Cryptic/PWE games. And this isn't a real 'open beta'. The game is done, they're just calling it open beta to make you feel special. Welcome to Cryptic.
