There is a Logs chat channel that shows hits and numbers. PC players have a way to aggregate and analyze them through ACT that isn't available to console players.
This just breaks my heart. You have so much amazing information in there. Do you mind creating a copy of it for us to reference? I can't tell you how many times I've read through it, recommended it, and referenced it when trying to make build decisions.
Thaumaturge makes a big difference. Also he might have been better at managing chill stacks. He might also have had better bonding runestones or sudden rings that weren't in effect when you inspected him.
I did this for a while. I think it works great on longer fights and things like stronghold dragons that are Chill immune. For the other 95% of the content though, I'd rather have the chill stacks. Just recently switched back to Icy Veins and haven't looked back.
This PVP spec is based on control. There are a few things that help with control in a big way, Orb of Imposition and Valindra Set. I don't think we should factor in HV too heavily when trying to balance the class. Trying to build for a small sliver of players on XBOX, non on PS4, and however many on PC seems like bending too much to a minority.
It does thanks. I am considering switching for that exact reason. Proccing in PVP for a serious shift in damage delt. I hadn't thought of thunderhead. Is it mainly for the stun?
Maybe something along the lines of: Icy Terrain could be cast at feet with level 1 and then the casting distance could be increased by 10 ft for each power point put into the skill. Putting the skill on tab would increase the radius of icy terrain by 50%.
