It has happned in invoking for me aswell, alot! - but that has Always been resovlable by pressing the "option" buttons for me (edit - NOT while beeing in a que and got sucked into an instance!!)

You are doing something wrong. As most people have said, the DC isnt a pure DPS class, and you are agreeing to that. I have some questions :) Im an old time dedicated mmorpg player - started with Ultima Online, unlocked my jedi slot in SWG (pre the village) , moved to wow where i played in method, a high end raiding guild.
