The Foundry is a nice touch, but pales in comparison to what you can do in games like Neverwinter Nights, which still has a large and kicking roleplaying community. What I am saying is, having other sources, the Foundry alone can't keep me here, and sadly, how the way things look, that is the only thing Neverwinter has…
Wouldn't suggest this game to anyone. Sure, one run from 1 to 60 was interesting and swell, having a little fun with the D&D theme, but this game won't last. Believe me, I wish they would prove me wrong, but my better judgment tells me it won't happen.
That people voice their opinion, that people fight against injustice is a problem? Wth is wrong with you? Alas, I don't even give this game a lifespan of a year. PWE/Cryptic are clearly set on only making a quick buck. It is how it is.
We can make as many threads as we want, don't think they plan on lowering the prices. Next update will be a new mount, a pig for 30 bucks, and of course a pig with a cute little ribbon for a respective price of 40 dollars.
Buddy, I've no gripe with them doing a maintenance. You are rambling about HAMSTER I haven't even said. So don't mind if I dismissively shrug it off.
I don't mind having a maintenance, but better communication would be nice. It's not fun when you are FINALLY in the dungeon you queued for a little while, just to be booted out because someone who is getting PAID to do their job, is obviously slacking.
You know why? Because even most of the people who complain still buy stuff. Every company would go to lengths in changing their payment model if they see the numbers dropping.
Noble cause, but in the end you are doing more harm than good. Do you think PW cares about why you buy zen? They don't, they just look at the numbers and determine if their business model is okay or not. Meaning, that by spending money, you decrease the chance that they will reason with the community and change their…
If people want to abuse it, fine, but in turn for the experience to reach lvl 60, I'd rob myself of experiencing all the quests, dungeons, skirmishes, pvp, lore and story heavy foundry quests, and so forth, in that time. To each their own.
I never mentioned bags, so I will not comment on that part, but I understand what you are trying to say with the account matter. I guess it comes down to the individual if managing 2 accounts is worth the hassle or not in contrast to just unlocking character slots. I'd be more inclined to unlock more slots if I had an item…
What? That makes no sense. Think about it. You want to support the developers, but why buy something that is completely useless to you? You can just as easily buy something ELSE to support the developers. Has nothing to do with me being a leech, just being....logical?
You know, you don't need a subscription model. There are f2p games out there with a reasonable cash shop system. Just saying. A company only understands numbers, so stop spending money on a game that has an overpriced cash shop. Then it will change. It is really that simple.
Wow... I had two games just now, hit first place, and got a blue item for each. I shower blue items on to the action house because I get so many. O.o ... you don't even get green items?
Nothing. I don't buy into games I can't try first, so there goes the founders pack... And I don't like their current pricing model. I'll happily spend some money if it changes, because I am enjoying the game very much, but yeah, at moment I am not compelled to do that.
But guuuyys, it's open beta! Fanboys, got to luv'em! Anyway, I'm going to be the guy who's going to have a freaking awesome time without having to pay a dime :) I'd happily contribute and buy a few things here and there, but the trade off is a bit too low to be worth it in my opinion. Soooo no money from me ^^
