I know how you feel, I deleted a my placeholder Cleric and rolled up a new one yesterday and was planning to use him as my new main. They really should just extend it to all characters created at the time the "reward" goes out. It's not like it's anything earth shattering anyway.

I checked ebay for the pc gamer. You'd probably be better off just getting a guardian pack. EDIT: Odd, I got the titles but not the in game items...maybe they will be there in the morning.

Diablo III's Gold dupe bug could have been completely solved by an 8-12 hour rollback because the bug was introduced in the 1.08 update. A rollback would have solved EVERYTHING. Here, the bug has been going on much longer, a simple rollback won't fix it. So you can peddle your "people are never satisfied" garbage…

Rollback is for show just like the few token bans they handed out. They aren't meant to actually fix anything, they are meant to show the inexperienced MMO player that Cryptic is doing something. I say inexperienced, because more experienced MMO players have seen this repeated too many times.

That was my immediate thought too. You'll get the casual exploiters, but the "professional" ones who have been doing it since launch will once again walk away laughing at both devs and fellow players. The MMO saying holds true once again: "Exploit Early, Exploit Often"

All part of the "look, we're doing something about it" show. Anyone who has been around the block a few times knows a few bans are meaningless. They are just used as a bit of theater to show the uninformed they are fixing things.

Actually the only proof you need is when the STO Test server (Tribble) crashed hard yesterday it took NW down with it at the same time. So if people want to pretend they are aren't tightly bound on the same server farm they can...but they are provably wrong.

Considering I said nothing of the sort...YOUR point is invalidate. The only thing I said about custom channels is that I think they are the only ones that cross between games.

I'm fairly sure this in error. I'm pretty sure the only channels that are common between games are custom channels. I definately could be wrong...and since we can't test it :|

Common sense says the TRADE channel is for TRADES. You guys just think you're special and want to SPAM everyone with the garbage you are selling whether they are interested or not. And as many this generation have been taught...it's EVERYONE else's fault but yours.

I really hope so. I hate "Special Snowflakes" who are too important to use the trade channel because they are afraid someone may miss their important sales/trades. (This goes for every online game I have ever played)

Obviously it's the same server farm, I doubt the games run on the same physical machines. But I'd be willing to bet they share the same login servers since that is usually not too intensive...except when everyone in the world is trying to login to two unrelated special event weekends :P
