Last two dungeons I've run, lost all my class loot (guardian fighter) to a rogue and a wizard. I hate tanking dungeons for dumbass dps classes to roll need on literally every single drop. Time to join a guild and stop tanking pugs I guess.
After buying the zen, you have to go back to the PWE zen page and choose which game to transfer it to. It's instant. You're not waiting on your zen to arrive, you just never sent it to your Neverwinter account.
You honestly don't think for every person who thinks this way, there are legions who would leave or never join to begin with without respec limitations relaxed? Stupid little limitations like this are what keep games like Neverwinter from ever reaching the levels of success and popularity you see in games like WoW. I would…
Probably because you should know the name of the guild you're in. Same with your name. You see other peoples tags because without them you wouldn't know who they are or what guild they're in.
One reason WoW is so successful is because the player base has so much information from theorycrafters and players who experiment, do the math and break everything down and make it understandable for other players. These theorycrafters are basically the d&d player manuals for the mmo world. If there was a dollar amount…
All it comes down to is a money trap. Plain and simple. It takes too long to raise the astral diamonds to support the amount of respecs min/max/mmo players need on a daily basis (without a dual spec option). The people it hurts most are tanks and healers. They're the ones who need dps specs for soloing, survivability specs…
EQII has a perfect F2P and cash shop model. Wish more games would model after theirs. I spent so much money on EQII, but I didn't feel scammed doing so. I guess because the prices didn't feel so outrageous.
The old MMOs I remember didn't have specs. You rolled a class and had access to every single ability/spell of that class. Then you had all abilities for whenever you needed them. If you wanted to be a tank, you equipped a shield and defensive gear and put threat/mitigation abilities on your bars. You still had the…
Normally I don't respond to threads like this, but the above quote is absolute horse ****. Nobody who is playing this game cares if you are a pen and paper DM. Pen and paper D&D and an MMO based off D&D are worlds apart. Pen and paper doesn't offer pvp which requires a drastically different spec than pve. People usually…
I doubt they showed a toon with blue eyes simply to "scheme to get more money". The video was made prior to beta. Many things change in a beta. If you paid $200 for the sole purpose of having a toon with blue eyes...I don't even know how to finish this sentence ::throws up hands:: I'm gonna get back to watching my 80k+…
I was never a big fan of Drizzt though I have read all of the Drizzt saga. He's a great fighter of course, but the rest of the Drow have always intrigued me much more. I feel that Drizzts character relies too heavily on the cliche hero-for-the-greater-good archetype. Danifae Yauntyrr and Pharaun Mizzrym are two of my…
