My internet connection is slow enough...but i've been patching 5100mb since midnight last night...17 hours so far and 2000mb to go...i don't understand why it needs to patch that much when it hasn't needed to do so before.

I for one am glad they are doing that. I don't know what the exact information on the issue is, but i'm content to wait to play a game they have created for us. I don't mind waiting especially if they are indeed protecting us from a hack. lol

i agree. we can speculate, rant, rave, etc all we want but really I don't think it was someone just accidently hit the off switch or whatever, it could most likely be an external problem...and i'd rather they do what they must then update us every 5 seconds just to say, "IDK".

Im going to explain something to you, not EVERYTHING can be fixed Right away. There are times where TIME takes TIME to fix issues. They are WORKING on the issue to bring the servers, and therefore the game/games you subscribed to back up. Whether you pay for the game or not will NOT make it magically come back up. Not to…

Not every problem can be planned for, not everything will be thought of when contingencies are drawn up. and depending on the problem, a contingency may take a while regardless.

valid concern, maybe. but it's not like Cryptic just turned it off. Stuff happens and sometimes it takes a while to get fixed. They're working on it, they've extended events due to this and honestly if it isn't they're fault they really didn't have to do that. ITs great that they did though.
