I would pay $50 right this second for Fippy Darkpaw gnoll companion! A Faerie Dragon would be awesome, too... a quasit/homonculous... Hell Hound.... A beholder the size of a baseball that has multiple types of attacks that it randomly does...
The weird thing is, when I run the full quest in the Foundry building program, it works perfectly fine. It's only on the 'live' server that it does that, and so far a few other players have experienced the same issues, so it's not just me. :(
Voivodak, The problem you experienced seems to have cropped up for a few different people in other quests as well. Logging out then logging back in puts the quest back in your log, and you can proceed right to the chest and collect the reward, finishing the quest for the xp, etc. It remains to be seen if it's a 'builder'…
Is that a long sword? Two-handed? Claymore? No! It's a sword that was born outside the marriage! Come on, Cryptic. A filter is fine, but an overzealous one is silly.
I just checked my quest too, and it's doing the same thing. :( It starts in Protector's Enclave, goes to a custom house map, then back to Protector's Enclave. But as soon as you complete the last step in the house and the quest log tells you to return to Protector's Enclave, zoning out to Protector's Enclave finds me with…
Why would the people quitting come to this forum anymore? And even if they did, why would they respond to you so that you can belittle them for quitting in the first place? This thread is EPIC FAIL. I really can't believe some idiot would actually spend TIME keeping a "quitter scorecard" for no other reason than to start a…
EQ2, STO, and GW2 are the ones I enjoy the most. I like Neverwinter, but so many issues that I really can't fairly put it in my top 3 right now. Hopefully they'll get these issues worked-out.
As an employee of the IRS, I wish to thank you for your suggestion, archiewind! I will pass this suggestion to my superiors! :P I hope Cryptic considers an economy wipe ONLY. I don't see how this affects leveling/xp and he time people have spent doing that.
Really, think of this like a 'movie' that is 'based on' something else. Neverwinter is 'based on' 4th edition D&D - and that's it. They use the names of classes, powers, monsters, etc. But that's pretty much where the similarities end. If you guys wanna play REAL D&D, then get around a table (or a virtual table - there are…
I've played D&D regularly since 1981, with 1st edition. 3.0 and 3.5 are easily the worst editions made. 4th is definitely more fun, and though it is the most different from the other 3 editions, it definitely has it's good points and bad. It requires far more tactics than any of the other editions, and I think that's a…
Speak for yourself, Jedizahn. :) 4th edition is a lot of fun, and in my opinion superior to 3.5. I've only dabbled with Pathfinder, but being so close to 3.5, I really didn't enjoy it, either. My group has been using 4th ed since it launched, and haven't looked back, and have enjoyed the hell out of it along the way. What…
Some class somewhere is going to do the most DPS - and people are going to whine about it. That is the simple history of every MMO, ever. If you think rogues are so good - roll one and go with it. My rogue does great single-target damage...while my wife is making groups of mobs look stupidly easy. Am I whining about the…
