Any reason to favor Divine Glow over Chains for pre-60 solo play? I find that daunting light + KB sunburst + Chains x2 yields flawless kills every time. Clearly you can't get Divine glow until 50 (or whatever) but what's the reason to favor it over Chains at 60?
I'm sure they are aware of Every game's End-game loot system. It's their job. That being said, it would seem to me that they initially meant for it to fuel the AD economy. The best players go around earning all that stuff, and for a price, the non-raider can walk around in top tier loot. It's actually a pretty nice idea…
I have no data to add, but my insight is that since respecs cost so much, and most players are not willing to pay that price, it would make sense to spec for the Intended and *assume* it will get fixed to work as intended than to spec for the current which might be changed in a hotfix tomorrow. If you end up speccing for…
Thanks for the writeup :) I've been enjoying my DC while they tinkered with the GF and it looks like when the patch hits I'll be respeccing to this :) I'll let you know how it goes! Keep up the good work!
Hah! No trouble at all :) I'd rather you take 6 days and put out a build you feel comfortable with :) I'll admit I haven't really been playing with Foresight, but I'm trying it out. That being said, with the increase to Tank threat, it might become much less important as you say. Thanks for persevering!
Sooooo, the big patch is hitting tomorrow. What are your thoughts? Also, I was wondering on your take on this guide: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?314631-Guide-to-Everything-Cleric-What-you-need-to-know-have-to-solo-heal-everything-PvE At least with regards to power and feat choice. I'd love your take on…
I had the same problem. Tried everything, eventually just bought another mount and sold the old one. Lost 2.5g but have a working mount. Sad, but they either aren't paying attention to this bug, or it will be addressed hopefully when the game goes "live". In the meanwhile, just buy a new mount :)
I had this problem on my DV. Trying to mount would activate Bastion of Health. It seems to be linked to spending Power points, and somehow rebinding the mount item to that skill. I tried everything. Everything. and eventually I just bought another mount and sold my current one. You loose 2.5g on the trade-in but luckily…
Bump for great justice. Healing is fast and furious here. And tanks are moderately to severely useless in the current aggro form. While I usually play a tank in games, I've found that it's far easier to kite-tank as a DC than rightly tank as a GF. Hopefully Cryptic will fix this thing. I'd really like to see an interview…
OK this is actually making the game unbearable for me. Anyone else having this problem or found a solution? Can we get an official acknowledgement of this at least?
Hey Mew :) Loving this build, and so are my parties (and most PuGs ;). So thank you for putting in the time and effort to share this with everyone! I noticed you updated the OP, and was wondering if you could perhaps include a changelog so that I (we?) don't freak out and try to eyeball suspect changes lol. I'm like "Is it…
I'm experiencing the same issue, but with a twist. It's only on 1 character (a Cleric) and if I have my Bastion of Health Encounter skill on my action bar, and I try to activate my mount, it will cast Bastion of Health self centered on me with no ability to designate where to target (ie: no ground target circle option). It…
Hey bud, fantastic guide, thank you! I noticed that the screenshot of your feats does not match the list you provide. What would you recommend people follow? Thanks again! Bale
Thank you for the speedy and detailed response. I consider this an integral milestone in my NW game experience. As I get more familiar with the game and mechanics, I'm sure I'll have more to say. Thank you. Bale.
Hey Venore, Long time Tank here from many other games, and looking to build my Guard up here. I have to say that tanking in NW is different and interesting. Thank you for the guide, looks great :) I was wondering, in lieu of spelling out every Power point spent, would you name the Powers that you stay away from? I like to…
