official response Hello, You may just need to wait and try again later. The following may help resolve the issue, but if not, you may just need to wait for maintenance and updates on the beta for the issue to be resolved. If you are still experiencing the issue, try the following: First restart your system. Try flushing…
any official response? I do believe it would be appropriate considering the amount of money I have paid to play. 1 ticket created, several forum comments added and 1 pm sent to an admin. Patch update was very vague regarding loading error they were fixing. Anyhows, modem being switched off tonight. Hopefully able to login…
all. it is IP related. the ip address provided by your broadband provider is somehow conflicting with neverwinter servers. I know this because I can access the game from the same pc on a different broadband connection. see my other forum entries for more details. what worked for me was to turn my modem off for 7 hours.…
its ip related. try switching your modem off for a reasonable amount of time so that you get a new ip. I had mine off for 7 hours and hey presto, new ip and success
its not your internal ip that causes the problem. your internal ip does not connect to the server I switched my modem/router off for 7 hours. came back to find my ip address (from provider) has changed. my internal 192.168.0.2 ip remains the same. I can now connect normally.

ok. i hope cryptic are going to pay me a consultancy fee as I seem to have managed more progress on this in the last 36 hours. im in the uk and am a virgin media customer. i have a superhub which acts as a modem and router in one. so far my superhub has worked fine with neverwinter. 36 hours ago i started getting the error…
Unlikely as connection works fine through a virtual private network (vpn). The vpn means I am connecting through a different ip address to the neverwinter servers
Dezstravus, I have run a few tests myself. The atual username you attempt to enter has no impact. nor does restarting your pc/router. I also tried fresh re-install with no success. I can log in fine through a vpn. seems to be related to my ip. almost as if my ip has been barred. I can send you my ip if that would help
worth noting the following. error occurs whatever username you use. therefore not account specific. error can be circumvented by connecting to a vpn on an external broadband conclusion is that there is an ip issue or something similar I have had the same issue for 24 hours and cant get help from cryptic or virgin media.…
you might want to get a friend or family member on a different pc to connect a vpn to. or try and use your mobile phone as a hotspot. just need enough to get you to login. possibly a proxy server would do
ok. got a workaround. connected internet connection to another external broadband connection via a vpn. This enabled me to login through the different IP. game started to patch. then disconnected vpn. launcher briefly disconnected then continued to patch.
