I agree with you in that an archer probably wont fix... Whatever kind of "MMO" they think Neverwinter is... But I disagree with you in not caring about an archer. I think it would help make Neverwinter suck less.
I'm not quite sure why anyone thinks there WILL be a new class. Sure I'd love to see a ranger, but I doubt this company will get off its procrastinating butt and actually make this game into something worth playing. All I know, is that I will NOT be playing until there is a ranger and I'm beginning to doubt there ever will…
Well getting to the future is easy! Just as long as you aren't reading anything from the twilight series, time should be moving fast enough for you to get to the ranger class.
I'm worried that there wont ever BE a ranger. Well... Not to much. All that means is I wont ever play Neverwinter which is kinda what I'm already doing. I just wish they'd outright tell us so I don't have to keep checking see if there's a ranger class yet.
Listen if you know how to play a GWF then you can play him much better than a CW or TR. Now your probably just going to respond by saying "That I suck at this game" but I have been beaten by a GWF on a TR. The GWF is a little harder to play but just as good as the TR.
No the question should be "Why the hell would you ever NEED more than one healing class?"! Adding fifteen thousand different kinds of healers is just annoying.
I agree entirely. Clerics are incapable of getting kills in PVP. Now of course going to into PVP as a healing class and expecting to do a lot of damage is a little idiotic... But healing gives you absolutely nothing in PVP. Instead of making the cleric do more damage I think they need to make the cleric get points in PVP…
To me at least, this isn't D&D at all. There is no bonus for what stats you take, there's little to no class customization and all the weapons are restricted. One of the things I loved about D&D was I could use any weapon I wanted as long as I had the proper proficiency, but in this its all the same. TR uses dual daggers,…
You DO realize that one of the main villains in the game is a necromancer and that you fight undead left and right? That kinda lowers the chances for there even being a necromancer at all. However I would like to see one, I think ranger is by FAR the best choice. Then maybe a bard (Along with the gnome race for Grobnar…
{QUOTE=brockp24;1242671]I'm the same as I'm sure a lot of you. I am going to either play the Great Weapon Fighter or the Trickster Rogue at Launch then when they release the Archer Ranger version I'm going to switch. (As long as they have a daily power called "Split the Tree".) I would dominate with that power!! [/QUOTE] I…
I honestly like the dual ranger thingy, but I LOVE the archer ranger. I'm hoping that they do something where you get a melee attack as a skill but other than that nothing. Like a dagger of some sort, they get to close SHIV EM! I don't expect to see a Dual ranger for a LONG time. Seeing as they already have the trickster…
I have to disagree with you there, I think it should definitely be the archer. With the addition of the warlock that will make two ranged strikers (There is no way in hell that the control wizard counts as DPS) and two melee strikers (Trickster rogue and Great weapons fighter. Hopefully the great weapons fighter will be…
