Problem could be that with potentialy 50 character slots open, leadership might be a bit too powerful. When I can understand this potential problem, nerfing leadership to the ground just penalizes legit players, 50 characters bot accounts will just farm AD a bit slower...

I would say to fix the exploits in dungeons first, this is the why of so many end game items overflow the market. Second, one random piece of gear after 1 or 2 hours in a dungeon isnt very rewarding, especially when you loose the rolls. We need other items to drop, high enchants, wards etc.... There's a way to get the adds out of the battle, they dont spawn anymore because they are not dead, only somewhere else... I did this 4-5 times but only by pure luck, I have no idea how to do it consistently, and if I knew I wont do it, this fight is as easy as it is now not to remove the adds everytime on top of that.
