The problem fixed itself. Someone was able to select the guild hall as the contribution target. We still don't how exactly the bug targeted or stopped. Hopefully, this bug report will help out others at some point.

Someone that's new to demo can learn the fight or be taught it. Screw ups happen. No big deal. My issue is with the trolls that deliberately try their damndest to ruin a run for laughs. Most memorable moment for me was when I was mining black ice in the dwarven valley in the pvp zone with my control wizard.
