I will definitely be using the foundry I love the ability to create stories to share with other players, It's something I've loved about the Neverwinter series. I am also looking forward to see what others players create. There is sure to be some great missions created with the easy accessibility the Foundry appears to…
I've watched quite a bit of anime. I usually tend to watch ones that a pretty highly acclaimed. I've seen "almost" all of the anime shows I feel are worth seeing. Anyway here is list of my favorite anime. You can probably tell they are almost all darker drama and/or action shows. Monster Berserk (1st) Gurren Lagann (2nd)…
I guess I'm just wondering if cursing is acceptable or will that prevent a quest from being approved. Most games have a filter to block curse words anyway but I might feel that we should be able to use them appropriately in quest dialogue situations. Also I love your signature shiaika! Just seeing the face made me lol
From what has been show in videos and stated by Devs your quests won't be removed. You can still search for the quest through the interface by author or the quest name I believe. Also if they're following an author it's even easier to replay the quest. I'm almost certain that you can also share the quest with a party if no…
I use to be a pretty big into roleplaying back in NWN 1 & 2 days. I was much bigger into NWN 1 as NWN 2 really struggled at its launch with persistent servers due to the complicated Toolset. I was a part of servers: Menzoberranzan, Myth Drannor and Acheron's Spawn. I had about 4 "persistent characters" that I developed…
I do agree with gillrmn on this. Day/night cycles are nice but when telling a story its better to have accurate control for the author of what time of day or lighting you want it to be. Whether this is by scripting an in story resting spot and using the same map but at night it doesn't really matter. This method works…
This stuck out at me the most. To be honest I half expected this already. I was really looking forward to creating my own areas when telling a story. Not having the ability to change textures can drastically change what you want to convey. Even if its as simple as creating pathways and streets. It does seem like there are…
I don't see any mention of custom exterior maps. Does that just mean we can just use preset exterior maps or will we be able to make our own custom exterior map? Presets are nice and save time, but I would like the option of creating some unique landscapes if necessary.
That's exactly what I wanted to hear b:pleased, Thanks for the reply. I look forward to playing Neverwinter hopefully in beta, and being able to use the foundry as well.
