It would be better to just read forums and check yourself. Im almost sure this thread is going to be 10 pages of whine and bashing between classes until its closed by mod :P

warlock by far is the most powerfull class, as it was from mod 1 to mod 5
this class has all you can dream of: powerfull burst damage, extremely fast spell casting, very good cc also buffed since last patches, so perma cc build is very easy to run, high defence+high deflect, best dodge in game, you can facetank anyone you want
immense selfheal that even got pushed in mod 6
in case you want to be more powerfull go Hunter this mod, they really dish out immense damage and clean hole nodes in seconds
....maybe I forgot something to add , not sure
Warlocks are the class with this shiny glimmering shield surrounding them, right?

I think you should edit your post and change every "warlock" to "wizard".

That was sarcasm. He is a SW player. I agree, that SW needs a buff, but CW is not PvP top dog.

Most effective as node trolls, DC (faithful, OP, GF or perma TR.

Deadliest I met. Perma TR with BIS gear, WoE, CoS mainhand feat, the other slowing offhand feat. When I did not dodge his smoke bomb I was dead before I was able to leave it, thats with gr. negation, shield on tab and full lvl 70 PVP gear. I was the only one with decent gear on my team. We fought 4v1. His team watched (premade). He focused me and killed the other 3 on the run.

Most annoying combo I fought, 2 opressor CWs, low dmg, but perma CC.

I have CW, GWF and TR with full lvl 70 PvP gear and my DC and HR miss PvP armour (3/4). All min. epic artefacts/ artefact gear, in parts legendary and mystic.

Strongest against low to mid lvl geared players, CW. If they have no tenacity I can kill them by pressing 2 (ray of frost).

Against full PvP geared players, based on my expirience, 1v1 TR is strongest, followed by CW and GWF. My DC sucks, bc he has rightous DO build (PvE) and HR needs BIS gear to do decent dmg (Trapper/ PF full epic R8/R9s is not enough).

In a group fight I did best with my GWF and CW, if a faithful DC was on the node.
Chars: CW, DC, GF, GWF, HR and TR.

I have actually met some powerfull SWs too in pvp. Especially together with a GF a SW can dish out a ton of damage and is actually quite resilent.

TRs have taken a hit and i still can not figure out exactly why. Some of them still do a ton of damage, but my own, despite being pretty good geared (legendary artefactequip, burning pvp gear, artefacts at least legendary) he hits with executioner build like a wet noodle right now. Against similar or even worse geared chars often for not more than 6k lashing blade from stealth. I think it has something to do with the patch that screwed up the way tenecity works in regards to critical damage. Right now the only sensible way it seems is to stack power if you want to kill anything.

GFs (my main) are still good, but with the changes to in combat regeneration they lost much of their staying power. They simply pale in comparisson to a paladin. Notable exeption is when fighting a CW, because a paly will often be blown off the node and constantly bleed points.

DCs are still hard to kill and a powerfull support class. Not much more to say here.

HRs are the most annoying class to fight against due to their movement and cc capabilities. Paired with a CW or SW they can bring down pretty much anything, save maybe

GWFs. They can dish out a lot of damge if played well and with unstoppable and sprint they have a chance to catch and destroy most enemies without worrying about getting controlled.

Palas are most of the time better GFs when comparing their roles. Depending on built they can also be very powerfull healers. Together with CW i would rank them right now as the most powerfull classes.

CWs are basically the jack of all trades. They have a lot of cc, dish out the pain and can take a hit with shield on tab. Not much more to say here.

What i have noticed is that right now we have far too many tanky classes running around, making pvp often quite boring, as all nodes are constantly contested. I have stopped counted the times when i sat on a node with an enemy team member and we just stop fighting and start talking. This is not a game of Diplomacy **** it! :p

CW and TR because of Shield and ItC.

Tone down that shield and redesign ItC without the insane immunity window it gives.

You'll still get people *****ing about both classes, but in truth, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
    • Change GF shield into a wet paper bag and mark into a macro pewing Monty Python references.
    • Change GWF Sprint / Unstoppable into a handicapped hobble
    • Change Pally Sanctuary into them walking around with a candle
    • Change HR weapon ...actually, they are bad enough here

Play a Saboteur, get Shadowy Opportunity, enjoy doing incredible damage by spamming at-wills. TRs using that are still the #1 class in PvP, especially after they pulled the OP's incisors.

And yes, the changes to Tenacity really did a number on TRs hitting from stealth without using Shadowy Opportunity. Because you have a 100% critical chance, and critical hits will do *less* damage than regular hits on many characters, especially if they aren't fully geared (i.e. have a Negation).

Play a cw, get negation and put shield on tab. The only damage you will receive is from piercing...

As of today, TR is still pretty much ahead of other classes.
TR with shadowy opportunity and lostamauth set is the only thing that can still burn enemies fast in PvP, even with new tenacity.

But imho (my personal opinion) the biggest source of imbalance is negation users vs non-negation users. That's a larger gap than anything else.

Try to fight a TNegation+Tfeytouched GWF with 25%+ LS chance and endless consuption boon+ avalanche+ cold shoulder.
Might as well hit a wall of bricks.

DC tanks and OP tanks are also problematic since the geared/ BiS ones just...well, won't go down. Might as well try to empty the ocean using a spoon.

with urs epic artis and r7s everything ill be tough to kill for you rofl.

Well that's for sure. But i've seen a BiS OP fighting multiple A-team BiS members from absolute-EoA and similar (OP was from ME) and one of the TR of the opposite team clearly said "there's only one way to kill him (the OP)" after the other TR tried to kill him for like 10 minutes and couldn't make his HP drop, not even a bit.

Plus i play a tank DC and even at non-BiS level i can tank up to 5 or more enemies unless they outgear me by far or have a lot of CC. I tank A LOT more.

However, i have 2 legendary artifacts you little b*atch :D (joking)
And soulforged in place of the broken negation. And GLifedrinker. :D Lol.
But yeah, still rank 7's cause i'd rather spend to upgrade weapon/ armor enchants or artifact equipment since i'm not an AD billionaire.

I'm a collection of non-BiS stuff right, cause i play with what i like, i'm not a sheep, and that's for sure the reason why i cannot fight BiS players on equal footing. Cause they never outplay me.
Which shows even more the big gap we have from BiS enchants like Negation, feytouched and the likes, and other enchants.

I could have mythic artis and legendary equipment and rank 12, i would still get destroyed by a GWF using negation and feytouched.
You should already know that normal enchants give little benefit for the price you pay to upgrade them. And the difference from a rank 110 legendary and a mythic artifact in stats is minimal if you look at the effect.

To see a difference i should spend a ****load of ADs to have ALL enchants to rank 12 and all artifacts to mythic.

And still, the difference between negation and soulforged and feytouched and lifedrinker would outweight all the pure stat gain from rank 12's and mythic artifacts.

May be players should play what the like more and devs should make all enchants comparable in terms of efficiency.

All the sheeps in the game can go use all the same stuff for all i care. I play for fun, not to win at all costs, and i can still say what is balanced and what's not.

Clearly you are talking about ONE TR build.

Hard for a TR who has been hit with Repel to decimate a CW.. with Negation.

I think the best and most OP class in M6 is the one that is wearing a Trans Negation.

I was told yesterday to buy a Trans Negation from the AH... it would make me much better in PvP. I was told I am good without it, but with it, I would be dominating.

I rolled my eyes at that comment.

Mod 5 is past. In mod 6, it's not a question about classes, but about crazy imbalanced builds ( paragon paths + feats trees ) advantages.

    Perma-stealth, piercing damages, perma-heal, perma-daze.
