Lvl 60 Not High Enough for Sharandar, etc?

I stopped playing for about 7 months and a few days ago jumped back in. My main PC was at lvl 60, having achieved many boons etc in Sharandar and the Dread Ring. Now, for whatever reason I cannot go back to those areas and get a warning that my PC doesn't meet the requirements. Support wouldn't give me an answer, just told me to come here.

So? Any ideas?

These areas were boosted with the level cap increase. Enemies in Sharandar are level 71, Dread Ring are 72, Well of Dragons and Icewind Dale are 73.

You'll be given the low-level warning but you can ignore it. You'll just likely get a royal buttkicking unless you play with a friend, until you level up and get some new gear.

By the way, the Elemental Evil content is designed to be run while levelling from 60 to 70.

Go to the tree in PE, pick up the quests from Minsc, level to 70, and enjoy the campaign areas once more.
And the warning is about your character not being level 70, and the area you want to enter being "updated" to level 70.

it depends on your class and where you left off at.. since it was 7 months ago.. i think you missed some time, so it might be difficult.

on 2-3 of my characters I was able to do all of dread ring/sharander pretty easily at 60+ still, just did it to test it out.

with gwf/cw I did briggins even at 61+.. and with my dc at like 63 or something.. but it..took..forever.ever.ever to do it like 15 mins at briggins. (with a healer pet and pots to boot and full heal spec.. it was harsh!) tried it on my tr at like 64 and was rocked to death.. every mob pack could kill me easily, but I had old draconic templer gear on, so not enough hit points.

With some other classes that were not as built up, I had a very hard time and gave up on several at the mini lairs when I tested (sw, hr,gf,tr) but all of those alts were pretty poorly geared with r5/6s slotted only.

It was a fun test when the new mod hit.

You can go to the new areas and just level up and do ToD dailies for added experience as well.

Weird. At first it wouldn't even let me travel to those areas. Now it does. I'm almost to 62 at this point so I guess I have some work cut out eh? Thanks for the feedback. Dunno why they couldn't have just said that on my support ticket.
