Would a complete focus on DPS do any good to my party?

Why on earth would you run oppressor when the current state of the game favours Spellstorm-Renegade by such a big margin? It's basically shooting yourself in the foot.

Why do you ask for help if you don't want to get helped?

    @arcofortep12

Opressor build would be an interesting control build that would help the whole party.

Listen to them, take conclusion, but never trust them at all.
While they know very much aspects and details about CW, they are wrong at many key issues.
The mych that there is only one good build is obviously myth and whenever you see it, just ignore it.

Make your way to be the best. Majority can`t be. It`s majority. Lead your own build. Shock and beat them all!

    *Sigh* If you want dps

If you want to be different, go MoF/Oppressor. There is nothing wrong with being different, but if you want to be different, just remember that 9/10 players won't want you in their groups because of it. By being different, you pretty much automatically single yourself out to be picked on, as sad as it is.

Don't know, I'm thinking about respeccing to MoF and build everything on Smolder and building Arcane stacks.

Before you do anything or take advice on a build, get decent numbers on the causes of your DPS. Enable the combat log, Use ACT, analyse it, and then think about where your damage comes from. Then copy your character to the preview server and test (for free) any re-spec/feat changes before spending AD or money. Re-spec's on the preview server are free.

If striving for control: the accumulation of bonuses is from items/companions/boons: C. Mage (blue=15%,purple=25%), Wisp(15%), Boon (10%), Valindra set(15%), Wisdom, and Control Bonus stat. I normally get +75% without orb or going oppressor. The price is lower DPS since I'm not running LOS or extra DPS companions (could have 2 more DPS companions in place of Mage & Wisp). But I have seen the numbers on where my damage comes from and my build is tuned to take advantage of that (storm spell 25-50%, and I use Storm Spell & Chilling Presence as SS/Renegade).

I actually think Thaum with Icy Veins CW who plays in close to mobs is probably the best CW to bring to most dungeon runs for ease of dungeon clearing (good damage & fast repeated freezes), but Renegade with spell twisting is the best damage dealer & it brings group buffs.

Icy Veins is good if you are solo CW.
If there is more than one CW or another controller, then icy veins is less needed.

And remember, some monsters and most bosses can not be controlled.
When you fight a CC immune monster, what do you need?
    dps and heals
    renegade has both.

If bosses could be controlled, even for a brief moment, then sure, 100% control build would be very useful
A CW without icy veins can still stand next to the mob, but he needs some ability to tank while waiting for mob to freeze.
shield on tab and maybe angel of protection (or other healer/protector companion) and high hitpoints and maybe some other way to heal.

In my opinion, renegade is overall best because it is versatile and because party buff is very powerful.
good dps and better tanking (because of Chaotic Growth and Chaotic Fury).

    Of these three:
uncertain allegiance, spelltwisting, and icy veins

spelltwisting is the best because faster cooldown gives:
    1. more control (but still less control than icy veins)
    2. more dps (because CW gets big dps from encounters)
    3. more frequent daily (daily is good for dps and control)

A CW without control abilities, completely focused on DPS would do any good in epic dungeons and skirmishes?

Sure you can do good dps with Cw if you want!
Until we have Sorcerer we can dish the max out from our CW.

Full control is a very rare need.
Only in hard boss fights(TOS, GWD). Which you can manage swapping pets(cantankerous mage,will-o-wisp) and swapping spells(entagling force etc)
