so seems like ddos attacks are not a myth after all

8 pvp matchs in a row, opponent team had about 2-3 same players each time.
every time we start to win
puff one of our guys gets disconnected, coincidence? maybe, bad luck? maybe?

but what stuck odd to me was that one of the paladins suddenly stop moving not doing anything let me kill him and a few seconds after that puff one of my team mates is disconnected.

if this is real, then i fear exploiters found the ultimate weapon , i just cant see how nw will be able to handle this one.

    I don't understand how someone can Ddos a room without getting himself disconnected if someone ddos a game server everyone on that server will disconnect not only his opponent so i think that's not a ddos maybe some class skill that bug the opponent and make him freeze disconnected like dc skill or others.

    is it your i-net/rooter that crashes completely or only disconnection from game? and was it always the same player that disconnected or different ones?

    i q solo, so always random party members in my party. and always some1 else get disconnected

    All game client communication is to the game servers, not to other game clients.
    If this is possible, it would mean someone found a api/command/bug vulnerability in the client software or game server.

    if it was their routers going down then it would mean someone is dubbing routers to make people lose connection the only solution is either change ip address or connect straight to the modem like i do.

    we have seen hacking tools scam players is very possible to exist a hacking tool to disconnect player.
    Internet has many secrets.

    i also experience this quite often. they might know of some way to obtain your ip address. i believe that as long as you are connected to the internet, hackers will always find a way to sneak into your system. it's high time that NW should have a dependable game guard..
