Whats the best Epic dungeon for a dungeon beginner

I haven't done any of the Heroic dungeons, with all the x2 experience weekends weeks and what not I have always been over level for them and just moved on.

Im playing a GWF level 70 with an Item level of just over 1800. I am ready to start assembling a set of T1 gear now and thought I would see what people thought about the dungeons that are open. I am also in need of some GMOPs to upgrade 3 artifacts so any dungeons that can provide those as a drop would be an extra bonus.

You're not overlevelled for heroic dungeons as the rework of these means you can queue for them all the way to the cap. You'll simply be scaled down. And as a player new to dungeons, that's exactly where you should be starting, to get a feel for mechanics and team play. I wouldn't recommend plunging straight into epics to you.

Consider running Kessel's Retreat - it's actually a skirmish, but you can get some pretty decent Alliance rings, necklaces, belts, and elemental seals to buy better gear with. Lair of Lostmauth is certainly doable at that IL, but is less forgiving.

Pugging into KR with ilvl of 1800 means getting kicked a lot.

Make sure you have all level 70 blue armor pieces, you will need all the HP you can get.

At 1800 ilvl, expect to be kicked a lot. Probably half the time you will be kicked outright. The other times people will be nice enough to let you stay a while. But if you die a lot, you will probably be kicked. Even if you survive, and get to a boss, if the party starts wiping, then expect to be kicked regardless. You just have to hang in there and keep trying.

GMOPs don't drop from dungeons anymore, don't think. If they do, the drop rate is very low. I would not count on getting them that way. You will need to save up. Check the AH. Sometimes people sell them for slightly less than 100K. If not, then the WB is the place to buy them.

Well thanks to the responses, but Im not a wallet player. If you have to spend that type of money to have a viable character there is a fundamental flaw in your thinking.

I will try to do a few and see what happens. It looks like Malabogs Castle has the lowest Item Level requirement. If I cant get anyone to let me in a dungeon Que I guess I will have to find a new game.

eLoL is mostly single-target so it might be the best fit for a GWF.

    Where to spend elemental seals?

There's a vendor in the market area of Protector's Enclave. What's nice is you can also buy armor for other classes, as the pieces are account-bound, so you can use them for your alts.

See, if you're a healer or tank with 1600 iLvl you're not going to get kicked. If you're a DPS that is at least competent, you're not going to get kicked. Be competent and you won't get kicked.

If you're having a hard time doing your role, try to group up and do heroics in other zones. They should challenge you to improve.
