The "Truth" is the people that exploit know they are exploiting and absolutely nothing you post on an online forum will make them change. The people this post is meant to influence will simply laugh and say that you are whining. There really is no gray area. The person behind the toon knows when he is exploiting. There is no way a CW using a fey-touched cant know its broken, just because its absurd. There is no way a ranger can in any way think he should CC better than a CW by procs. Impossible to kill Clerics, know its ridiculous. I'm not even going to list the things a TR should be aware of.

Ranger is a class in 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons. There are three ranger subclasses: original ranger, a martial striker,[PH:103] hunter, a martial and primal controller,[HotFK:149] and scout, a martial and primal striker.[HotFK:175]
just saying that 'no way' is wrong term completely.Especially if you are talking about expectations from people that know something more that this 'kinda D&D ' abusing game. especially if you remember that there are other types of wizards.
On other side CW(NWO edition) still are very good and versatile on both control and damage.
With rest I agree.
in 80% of cases people know that and what they are abusing. It is not right. And I'd really like to see it go away. So that we could play balanced fair game.
And now hard truth
it may sounds bad but fact is that this game is so broken and unbalanced that abusing often happens without any alternative. Example of this - I know like bunch of solid bugs from mod 4 (aka roots don't respect control ets) that are reported weekly. Does any one gives a fk? nope. It took then 3 month to fix aoLF, and still they broke serpent.
Great example of allowed abuse is lostmouth set. It will be nerfed sure. Somewhere next mod.
At the moment everyone wants it. that is why everyone runs stupid grind(lockboxes) to get it, sell it on AH, buy RP to refine and so on.
It is "just business, baby". There will be always OP stuff that will be nerfed to ground before next module to give space to new. Like it was with regen,ls, potion to allow OP.
So when you face a ECC that can not be beaten in 95% of cases without exploits especially when you run with lfg people, do you really think that - ok we gave up and not use this bug just cause ...?
So is it fair - nope. Can you do it otherwise? nope. What you gonna get as reward? some bs. You will still need to do this dungeon 100+ success times. So 1*100 = 100%. 1/2 *100 = 50%. Are you willing to do same boring stuff twice more? Same math is for pvp really.
Gear will rule for free-to-p.. game as will there always be exploits cause devs don't care for most of then as long as it is not hitting them hard.
Another thing that should be mentioned aside from the imbalance in gear or classes, is the apparent, huge disparity in understanding of PvP mechanics and tactics between the "average" group of people and those more seasoned and learned in the ways of the For... I mean, PvP.
To this, I'm certain everyone who "knows" PvP would agree, because we were all once there. When you're just a casual player, or a newbie, you really don't have a clue as to just how much difference there can be in skill level. It is only as you gradually climb through the ranks and become better and better, that you eventually begin to understand just how big this difference can be.
There are huge amounts of complaints everyday in the PvP forums, yet it is difficult to think that all of those people know what they're talking about. I'm willing to bet that many of such problems can be settled, explained, taught, given answers/solutions in the form of real live examples, instead of having to go through all this drama and emotion in trying to explain with words why some of the problems are L2P issues and not class balance issues. IMO those kind of knowledge can only be taught by trial and error. Like, for example, you can't explain to someone how you track a TR through its stealth by anticipating and counting seconds without actually showing him how it works. Every experienced PvPer knows that you can do this -- not like how you do it with the "hardlock exploit", but experienced players really do show remarkable insight into how a TR would move and maneuver in stealth.
...
Hence, I'm trying to push for an implementation of a dueling system within the game, which, for some reason, NW has left out. Another problem is that the casual players and bunch of people that might need help, or can use some good advice, don't really have a way to meet the better grade of players every day. It's often difficult to just try and contact all the big-name guilds or players out of the blue, and if they find that awkward and difficult, the only other chance they have is to somehow meet them in a match by pure luck, and we all know what happens then.
I want to see a certain corner of Protector's Enclave recognized and acknowledged as "Oh, that area is where PvP players hang out". I want to see casual players and newbies interested in PvP, walk up to that area, watching with their eyes wide open as duels happen in front of them, learning silently how some of the players move and fight. Perhaps after frequenting for a while, some of them might have the courage and ask for a duel to someone else. Maybe they'll get better acquainted with PvP oriented players and guilds. Maybe they'll have a chance to learn a lot more by becoming friends, talking about things, having practice duels, without feeling the pressure of having to commit oneself into a PvP only guild.
I feel that there needs to be something, anything, to promote better communication between us PvP players, and rest of the players that might have some interest in both PvP and PvE. There's actually a lot of casual players or PvErs who may also be interested in PvP, but in many cases they feel ostracized due to large gear/skill differences, and sadly just give up on the PvP aspect of the game.
Need a lot more ways for us PvP players to try and reach out to the others, and I think a dueling option/area could help.
