How much did you spend on RP this 2x?

I only used what I had saved and bought 2 stacks of Peridots. 220k for 1 stack is crazy expensive.

    I ended up buying about 20 stacks of Peridots, spending most of the AD I had been saving for several months.

    But since I finally finished the Mod 7 grind with my TR and got my main and off-hand on Sat morning, I got them both to epic levels off that.

    Only spent AD/Zen on GMoPs and pres wards, but my shared bank space -- and the personal bank space of my RP stack hoarder -- look like Dresden after the bombing.

    A few Greater Marks of Power/Stability/Union and half a stack of Minor Thaumaturgic Stones remain; the rest is gone. :P

    But I upgraded 7 lvl 70 characters, mostly to epic, and I'll have all rank 8s after I get some more pres wards, so it was worth it.

    I don't refine on 2x weekends, I hardly do it anytime even. not fun for me.

    I spent zero, I refined what minimal were sitting on the characters. With the RP costs, what realistically is the point of 2x? It would need to be more like 10x to be something special. I still wouldn't pay though.

    Nothing...the prices more than doubled during the weekend. It'll actually be cheaper to refine stuff (if you're buying it off the AH) next week when the prices deflate again :)

    Nice Thread OP..Only have SW at 70 and a HR at 68 other two are at 60 still. So decided to strip the alts banks and move everything to work on the SW only. Lot of work very boring but got my SW back to fun playing. Main hand got maxed out to lvl 60, Off-Hand to 42. Raised Lostmauths horn to lvl 102 three piece set neck and waist to 35. got the three secondary Artifacts all to 60. All enchants to lvl 8,9 or 10's. Needed to get Medic's enchants as high as I could so got the lvl 5's to 7 can't ding 8 until get some AD..Over all worth having one Char enjoyable to play than 4 that suck..lol anyway that was my weekend and still married I think, will have to go check.

    If I had to do it over again, I would have bought the dragon bone and dragon gem from the AH and crafted the MH on my 7th alt.

    Running Spinward Rise on her was once too many -- and it took time from a lot of enchantments I had saved up from leadership and skill nodes.
    .lol anyway that was my weekend and still married I think, will have to go check.

    Sweet jesus , I still had loads of stacks of Peridots saved up from before the DH drops became bound that I got for 12k-14k per stack xD

    I did buy a crapload of rank 4 stacks of Radiant and Dark enchantments the week or two before 2x rp was announced that I got for around 7k per stack .

    I spent very little. Way ahead of time, I bought some stacks of R5s, and I bought the blood ruby pack when I got the coupon a couple of weeks ago. I saved up tons of RP since last 2x event. (Heralds FTW)

    This weekend I finally bound my new arti gear. My MH is legendary (huge DPS boost from old legendary), got my GCharisma belt to level 58, my neck and off hand to purple, and my lowest level artifact is 87, my highest is 122. I filled up most of my R9s, and filled my Pvorp about halfway.

    My alts didn't do much besides replace their old stuff with similarly ranked new stuff.

    total waste.

    3 days of double refine no upgrade for any artifact or rune at all!!!!

    wasted all my stacks:

    more then 500 r5
    34 r7
    34 blue resonance
    27 epic resonance
    a few stacks of green resonance (around 298)
    and more then 1 million ad to buy some more refine from ah
    all this for what?
    upgrade my artifact from lvl 100- 109?
    to upgrade my artifact weapon from lvl 48-58

    and i have already seen ppl running with all mythic artifact legendary artifact gear and lvl 10-12 runes
    this leads me two conclusions:

    A they use bots
    B they have loads of $ to spare.

    Absolutely nothing. I'd been saving every stone worth more than 500 RP since the last 2xRP weekend, so I had over a million saved up. I was not dumb enough to have refined my old artifact gear (2 legendary, 1 lvl 58, one lvl 36) yet, so I had that too, as well as dozens of hoard and fey blessing enchantments just waiting to be refined, and enough glory to buy a raven skull. So, after the weekend I went from an old artifact belt and neck and about level 30 artifact weapons to legendary weapons, legendary belt and about level 46 artifact neck without spending a single astral diamond on RP.

    Of course, this won't be possible for new players and newer characters what with the boneheaded, anti-player nerf to DHEs, unless they fix that. Considering that mess, what we're really owed is a total removal of the nerf (which was a terrible idea anyway) and a double refinement month.

    C they have been playing this game for a long time and made a lot of AD by cleverly buying and selling items.

    Not a single cent. As for the AD that's been collecting in my reserves, I spent them on a few epic enchantments from the AH (the prices on several have dropped significantly since the x2 RP weekend started). I had enough RP stones to get all the lvl 70 artifact equipment on my main character to Epic quality, and all to Rare on my second. I don't really care about getting them to Legendary. Takes far too long, will probably become obsolete later, and besides, purple quality seems to work well enough to get me through content. (Or at least T1 dungeons, haven't arrived at the T2s just yet so we'll see if that logic comes back to bite me)

    Overall it was a productive RP weekend for me. But now it's back to the old "Hoarding Games." May the odds of RP drops be ever in your favor!

    Nothing. I just used all the RP I saved. Never used RP on non-RP days. And I finally opened up the hundreds of leadership boxes I save too. They only give R2 and R3 enchants but thankfully they can all be fed into the target artifacts in stacks so no sweat. :)

    ...about 1.5 million AD - for GMoPs.

    Didn't even get to open all those Leadership boxes on half my chars (I'm wondering if the stacks top off at 999 next week, or go to 9999) because the - again - ultra-short term announcement made this the third 2xRP weekend in a row where I've had plenty of RL appointments... :^/

    I saved up a bunch of Bloodraven Crystal, upgraded them to level 59, then feed it to a new BloodRaven, then upgrade the new BloodRaven to Epic and feed it to another new BloodRaven again. The 3rd Blood Raven goes up to lvl 98~99 straight after refine (obviously u have to upgrade it). Guess what, 3 BloodRavens with only the RP needed for lv1~59 RP plus the insigificant upgrade cost, each of those BloodRavens now feeds 6 million+RP to your Power Artifacts, thats how I got 3 Power Artifacts to about Mythic level straight :D
    (Obviously to do this you need to do a lot of PvP, approximately 72k Glory needed for each of those~ PeeVeePee harderrrrrr :D)


    Old artifact gears also gives very sweet return during double RP, I upgraded some new lv70s to lvl 30 epic, and after putting the old gears to refine, they go to Legendary level straight.... Double RP event is just sweeeeeeeeeeet! :>

    I bought some Tenes (maybe 20 or so) to feed my artifacts a bit. I know there were cheaper options but I didn't feel like competing for stacks of rank 4s on the AH for 1h, so I paid the price.

    Also spent a ton of money on a VT belt and a VT artifact for my CW, then tons of ADs on Gmops and blue marks of potency for enchantments and artifacts. And of course, 60-70 preservation wards, bought with zen. Bought a wheel of the elements too for my CW.

    I had a lot of RP stored anyway so that was it for me. I'm down to 3M ADs (from 8-9) and don't regret it. Most of my artifact gear is now purple, I have better, upgraded artifacts, most of my artifacts are legendary on the two chars I play.

    I spent $0. And that's what it will be until they fix what they broke with Module 6. I can't even do the dailies with some characters. Why would I spend any (more) money on a game I can't enjoy playing?
