Anyhow... this will once again hurt legit players more than bots, because ,guess what, grindbots can switch between characters every hour or so rather easy.
And yeah. Bots are what kinda made the economy work here, by putting in piles of 99 whatevers.

I thought the topic suggest this is a thread about DOUBLE REFINING POINT event, not botters or Dragon Hoard enchantment...? I rather hear people talking about how to utilise this event than to complain about other areas in the game!
Finally I can clean up half of my personal bank and put the old artifact equipments/refining gems into good use! HOORRAAYYY!

The market for stacks of enchants has been going crazy all day. People are prepping for the refining event. Exciting stuff!

2x is is botter delight. The Botters with stacks of x99 enchantments for sale are the real winners here. Their 99 stacks are currently 2x their normal price and going up by the minute. So buying RP from the AH and upgrading during 2x is a fools errand. Wait till the event is over and get more RP for your AD. Totally WAI.
Bots or not, it doesn't matter. If nobody buys the RP for real money bots are doomed. Double RP, fine, at least it gives real players the chance to use the limited RP they got for playing or sell them for more AD that they can use to buy better value and fun stuff.
As usual, real players always come out on top if they use the event to their own advantages instead of falling for the carrot stick in front of their noses.

Thsee always seem to happen right before they drop a huge bomb... last time it was double rp! Oh you used it all? We here new artifacts/arti gear/en ch angs to spend all your money on re-refining. Again. Fool me once, twice...please stop lying to us nwo.

Of course. The guys running bots farming enchantments for them are loving this 2x. Their 99 stacks have already doubled in value. Tomorrow they will be making even more.

I would strongly urge you not to buy them right now -- it's a sucker's game. I'm waiting until the event is over before I buy any RP. This weekend I'm only planning to use what I already have.

Price rise is only temporary and its like that every single double RP event.
Think about all those ppl who kept all their RPs for such event.

The only players who would complain about such event are those who have their gear refined prior and got no RP saved up for such occasion.
I just refined my old Legendary weapon into my new one, which was at Blue (can't remember the level)... And much to my surprise, it brought the new weapon to Legendary. I was expecting it to still be well within the Epic ranges after the refining.
makes me wish i had saved myne. cause that royally sucks dude.great for you though.

I used my old cloak into my new one... It brought a lot but I am only pruple and I was purple so it is an even swap
