(Ant-Monster) DDoS Attacks in PvP.

During a PvP match I kept defeating a CW by the name of <removed>, he started getting upset because he couldn't defeat me. Right when we were about to win the match, he suddenly stop moving as if he minimized the game. Few seconds later I was disconnected. I re-logged to find I was kicked from PvP, and penalized for 30 minutes. ABout 4 seconds after I re-logged he sends me this warming message lol!

    The PVP community will always find a way to grief another user. It's a sad reality. Seems instead of the kicking.. it's DDOS now. Can't say that I didn't see this coming since it's a practice often done in FPS games.

    The 30 minute penalty now does more harm than good. Domination should be like GG, where you can just exit if you wish to do so.

    I've noticed in some matches I may get terribly laggy in a middle, when I am playing against some PvP guild premades. However, I still think it's server's side problem rather than BSOD.

    i remember during this past month servers were shutdown because of a DDOS attack (cryptic admitted it themselves, sorry i just cant find the thread). so it's highly possible that hackers can start DDOS attacks without a great gameguard..
    It's more fun in the Philippines >:)

    I remember reading that as well.

    Yeah we all know that the 10 years old kids, who rage in pvp is def. able to hack the cryptic server just to do a ddos attack against you... Tinfoilhat.com....

    When certain people can't digi-harm you in PvP they lash out and try to harm with words. They are not in the PvP for a good match, just THIER own enjoyment at your expense.

    If he had hack attacked you I highly doubt he would send that /t


    I find it amusing when I beat someone and they call me names like "pug". It just means they are less than a pug by THIER own definition :D

    This game need even simple/basic security solution. It will at least block some bots, prevent from some illegal software aka exploits.


    As for DDOS, well first of all u have to make sure no one know or gain IP. Thats mean less illegal app's, + install proper internet security with firewall. Because its remind me of same problems which are in LOL.
