I see compared to a very recent poll in mod 5, TR has dropped significantly and CW is once again spiking. Mod 6 trend?
Well in mod 6... y'know CW... best damage output, best DR, best control, and one path with a big, if unreliable, heal. Jack of all trades, master of....erm... all trades.... LOL
Lmao @ the fact that very few play TR after SoD and Knife's Edge were tweaked/fixed.
I run an MI Exec and it really is still incredibly effective at what TR's are supposed to do in pvp. The class just feels right at this point. But my main is a GF

My favorite classes are GWF and SW even though I started to play NWO as DC, I was mainly playing my SW Lazaroth Dae'mon when Akromatik did the player spotlight about me but my favorite is the GWF which is also my best geared character atm with 3825 item lvl.

I Started as tr back in beta, but now i have trouble to choose between gf and gwf. I may say gf is my main, but im not so sure its so true right now, i enjoy playing on him, but when price for 1 mistake is death, i start to doubt in my tanking skills. And for the other hand i like smashines my gwf bring with him to party. He is a monster outdpsing almost evry1 without weap enchant (needed to drop transceded feytouched coz of bugs), and ofc im latelty putting some big AD supply in this gwf, so i need to say, gwf is my main now.
My main would be Guardian Fighter cause thats the first toon I made.
But I have 1 of every character, warlock is the least favorite.
In other MMO's I've played I don't switch around as much but because Neverwinter does the ying/yang nerf/buff every mod I found myself switching alot.
Heh, when your used to your class pwning everything it comes across and then gets nerfed to where it can barely handle any mobs you start losing interest. Especially when you look over yonder and another class is the new pwnage.
That is the biggest killer of a class, not that its nerfed in order to be balanced but that the pwnage just shifts to a different class.
My favorite/main, the one I siphoned all my time and AD into, would be my Scourge Warlock. None of his paths are viable anymore, though. The mod6 trainwreck team did their number on the class, which had a perfect high-risk, high-reward, soul-render type feel to it. It did the most DPS of any class in the game, or alternatively more DPS and healing than the comparatively higher-utility DC. It REWARDED diving in face first and not faltering- you had no survivability without high lifesteal!
And now... The SW has no survivability, period, and does some of the lowest DPS in the game, despite being a STRIKER (pure DPS) class.
Hi, just to let you know, you missed out my option which is 'None, I play them all'.
That's why the question asks what your "main" is. By definition, you cannot have more than one main. Unless, of course, you decide to give the word a meaning that differs from the dictionary.

Hmmm... I have no 'main' character, I play all my characters equally depending on what I want to play on any given day. Hence why the missing answer is 'None, I play them all'.
Astonished. Most people play cws.... this is straaaange
Of those people that still care for this game now, a higher fraction mains CW. Isn't so amazing, somehow...
...another tidbit I wanted to add:
For me, one of the big strengths of Neverwinter has been the ability to play more than one class at a reasonably powerful and well geared level. When I got "meh, nah, not so entertaining anymore", or was looking for challenge, switching to some alt still in the campaigns or getting gear for one of them always was a nice thing. Every class has a completely different feel to it, and the tactics and strategies one can / has to use in the same situations are different, too.
This is one of the main reasons why I continued to play this game beyond the "half a year to boredom" threshold...
I am a fan of european ancient history and war games. So i always chose the archetype of the antique european warrior ,the shield and sword armoured infantryman.
So main will always be my precioussss Goofy Fighter with his rusted, trusted shield ...:)
My Gf has suffered a long history of hits in the head from GWFs in Mod2,HRs in Mod3 and CW/TRs in mod4/5. Still he remains vigilant and ready to smash his longsword on to enemy toons heads .preferably the wearing cloth/leather helmets ones :P :P
TR is my main, I do NOT PvP, this is for PvE only. I enjoy enjoy the dynamic combat style, hit dodge out, hit dodge etc.
HR is the other character I play though at the moment, currently archery, but ill be re-speccing into combat.
DC, played one prior to MOD5, enjoyed running dungeons, HATED running dailies as they took forever
CW, Thraum MoF. I enjoyed my CW somewhat, stopped playing for a few reasons. 1. there are many MANY other CW's in the game. 2. I absolutely despise their constipated crab walk. 3. hate the pause after a teleport dodge
GWF, havent really played mine enough to make an informed judgement, but from what I have played, I think I would like this better than CW/DC
SW: almost started one, but hey I already had a CW, and the run animation for the SW bugged me. The run is very mechanical, looking.
OP: Creating one now...or TRYING to but I keep getting server not responding while trying to complete the sleeping dragon bridge.
Interesting, maybe it's just the areas of Neverwinter that I frequent, but the listing on this poll don't even seem close to accurate with what I am seeing in game. There is NO way there are as many active SW's as there are TR's and HR's. And no way in hell there are more Guardian Fighters then there are Trickster Rogues. Not by a longshot.

To be really blunt and honest, the best this poll can hope to achieve is finding which classes read the forums most.
CW/spellstorm/renegade; Ive always been a Glass cannon kinda guy, SW was listed as that but came across more as a petclass to me so I went CW/spellstorm/renegade. A close second would be a solo battlecleric, loving the CC it has(so far im liking the CC from DC more than CW)
