Neverwinter's Servers are Down

UPDATE 4:22 PM PDT: Due to the nature of the situation, while Neverwinter is now available, our teams will be heavily monitoring it.

UPDATE 3:23 PM PDT: We're looking into the possibility of a DDoS affecting our network connections. We'll update as we have more information.

UPDATE 2:11 PM PDT: We're looking into the servers once again. Stay tuned for more updates.

UPDATE 11:50 AM PDT: Neverwinter is back up!

We're aware of the issue and are working to bring it back up. We'll update you in this thread.

    Thanks for the response. BTW, I could not select and make "stick" the choice of powers and feats after leveling up just before the crash...

    "beckylunatic" Gateway AH should have column headers to sort by buyout, bid, end time, quantity, etc. These disappeared iirc with the module launch. It's obnoxious.

    seconded on the x2 RP which is really what we need to get more folks in fighting trim. People without unlimited funds are all waiting to dump their old artifacts into the new ones until this happens meaning a whole lot of potential is being lost to them until this happens. Make it happen. For the goodwill of the community, make it happen now.

    There is also a bug with the AD respec.I couldnt spent points and boons .Everytime i try it shows me an error about level 4 skills being affected by the changes.

    could we get a x2 refinement week to go with the week of x2 xp? (which btw didnt see the x2 xp listed on the calender when i logged in b4 this crash yet again)

    Also, it's things like this that cause tragedies. Once I was no longer occupied with the game, I discovered my wife had bombed the bathroom. Finding a solution to that to be lighting a match, I quickly set about in the task of playing with fire. Soon I found pouring the 90% rubbing alcohol directly into the toilet and lighting THAT on fire, and the subsequent 'cauldron of fire' it created was much more effective than just a match, until I began to fear for the flammability of the toilet seat, at which time I (conveniently) promptly flushed the toilet, extinguishing the flames, and sending me back to the forums, lets I have to explain to my wife how and why I burned down the bathroom.

    Now if only the server had been up... none of this would have happened..

    The logon servers are (still?) down. After patching can't log in.
    Just tried again and the failure message has changed to 'Server is not available now'
    Hopefully it's being bounced and we'll be playing soon :)

    Due to the lack of updates.. and from what i've been hearing..

    I don't think it will be up for a while, i'd est 2hr+

    Seems as though something didn't take with this new patch...

    I for one could see some errors myself, with legendary companions still not offering bonuses..

    My guess is they are estimating the down time to repair, before publishing..

    It came up about 2 hrs 10 minutes after maint. started this morning, only to crash in less than half an hour. I leveled my OP to 68 and POW, it came crashing down. Clearly my fault. Sorry.

    I'm sure most of us have worked in an office environment at one time or another. One third the time to get back up is going to be 'inter-departmental miscommunication.' Another third is correcting the miscommunications, and finally our remaining slice of pie goes to tracking down the coder who forgot to carry the 1. **** you 1! Why can't you carry yourself?!? Lazy number.

    I have now come to expect that anytime the server goes down and a time frame is given, add 2-4 hours to that time frame for an accurate idea of when it will be back :)

    Any ETA on coming back? always on my day off. The schedule time has passed by 2 hours already.

    I'm in favor of backup servers. The game ran just fine before. Update a second set of servers and roll the game over to them. If they bug out, roll it back to the previous servers and fix the issue, then roll again. Or at least keep up Sword Dice so we can entertain ourselves while we whine.
