the cleric is not a bug or a glitch it is working as intended for the severity of the 2k dungeons, I think it is the best thing to happen to Neverwinter for clerics just to HAMSTER people off

I'd say this thread is only open because nobody has detailed how to do it.

I'm glad I read this thread...helped kill the Icespire Peak white dragon today using Hammer of Fate five times in less than a minute thanks to some other DC's golden field of AP gain. It's great...and it's way, WAY too good to be anything but an exploit. Well, now I know...and the more you know...
I seen a cleric use guardian of faith on a player in pvp like it was an at-will, resulting in the other guy perminantly getting smacked to the ground without being able to move. Perma cc is always a broken mechanic.
Imagine if rogues could keep up bloodbath, or gf's could use dailys like that with steel defence and could solo any content lol. dailys are the strongest powers and should be used with skill at the right time, not spammed

That is actually funny in a sad way.
PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.
Lol, ur enjoying the Bug and this is why you won't fix haha nice joke..,
Right build seriously ?!.. Less than 1,2 - 2 sec for FULL AP
It's game breaking bug which people abusing it to get easy Loot and easy wins on PvP.
Constant spamming Dailys has nothing to do with the right build Lol,
The should perma BANN for all player who abusing it , all Dcs and player who want a profit of it.

If dungeons are really too hard to be finished without bugs, then both the difficulty and bugs are separate issues that need to be solved.
But I'd think twice about using bugs like this, and not because of banning or something. In a way you are losing gameplay. Like directly reading the last page of a book instead of going through the actual plot.
Just don't complain you have nothing to do after you are done with the game like this.
I can tell those harder mod6 encounters are more memorable than entire areas before, just facerolling everything. "I'll come back for you when I'm stronger!" - isn't something about this great? Probably the closest thing to an emergent story your character can get in an MMO. Don't know about dungeons yet, but I'd advocate for less grindy/repetitive, but harder content instead of the opposite. Let us struggle, instead of patiently filling up a "progerss meter", so to speak.
look been checking over things going over the Action point build and it is a legit build, tested in multiple 2k dungeons, and even with the AP cleric most people cannot beat the Epic Grey Wolf Den, so ran it several times with several different types of clerics and the only clerics to even get close to helping us beat Epic GWD is Action point clerics, so im tired of hear the clerics are using a bug, when it is simply the right build with the right offhand weapon setting for the cleric, they are doing their job, and even with them doing their job while I am shielding everyone with Divine protector, while a Gaurdian fighter is shielding me with knights valor, we still got our butts kick @ 1 point like really, so my complaint is Clerics are using what they got to help us win dungeons that are just OMG, challenging but fun, just don't mess with the new clerics please thank you Cryptic for making them like that thumbs up on that for sure
you haven't taken into account the effect of this in PVP. right now pvp is a mess with this kind of exploit (hey bloodtheft enchant i see you!)..
It is a bug, as explained earlier its known bug. It was intended to work only for initial of daily not his tics after. Read description and stop say silly thing. This was a game breaking bug (pvp) even with knife edge alone...
From another engle, its just class feature+upgrade from offhand. You want to penalize ppl for using what they have? Why this lazy company didnt just disable this feat upgrade till it get fixed? It reqires 5 mins of 1 programmer work and maintenance. Thats all, but its to hard for them...
Wheres an game breaking bug it should be fixed asap. Devs (or thair managers) have huge problem with prioritize there processes.

As ravenan wrote it is a bug according to the tooltip, too. I help the ones say no it is legit and the ones say read the tooltip:
"When you activate a daily power all allies w/ in 50' have their recharge times reduced by 1 (2/3/4) second"
/OFF This CF had the same behavior w/ its basic effect w/ lasting effect dailies which are "re-activating" every second while in effect and it was changed - "fixed" - making the CF been lame compared to the old CFs. The CD reduction and the AP gain could be taking effect in a lower rate (0.25/0.5/0.75/1 sec CD for basic and 1% AP for off hand) during the lasting time but it will never be done so, I have a high bet.
/ON
Will be fixed on the 23rd and to be honest, I really want it to be fixed.
Since it seems like many do not know this, I feel it should be pointed out that at the moment there are two separate DC AP builds in the game. Threads on the subject abound with people mixing one with the other.
One is based on a Virtuous path feat and should in theory, based on the tooltip, give around 25% AP for every 10s the DC has normal rotations going. In prctice it's giving a bit more due to some powers procing it in divine mode also. This can be seen as OP, but since it's pretty much exactly as the tooltip claims I can't see how it would classify as an exploit.
The other is the one that turns the DC into a lightning rod and gives dailies every 2s. Nothing to say about that aside from hope it gets fixed.
i want to point out how wrong this comment is. hr's cd reduction is not a bug go read the feats its as intended. actually go read it.. right now... im not joking... think before you speak.
I main an HR myself... and a trapper ^^ so I know what I'm talking about and having a single melee encounter resetting the cd of all my ranged encounter (and not just once but twice for melee encounter use...)... is what I call a bug ^^ swiftness of the fox proc out every hit... aoe skill proc it once for every target you hit (so a max of 5 time per skill) multi hit proc it for every hit (so 3 times for fox shift) and the new ultrabugged gushing wound proc it every time it deal damage (so 20 time if you don't bug it ^^) that is exactly the same bug with DC ap gen... and the tr encoutner reset on bloodbath use... all share the same mechanic and the same bug the fact is that on HR you use this feat in a normal way most of the time and the bug don't stand out because the feat by itself would actualy result in just a little CD on encounter compared to the no CD that you get by abusing it... and HR encounter damage is not comparable with that of other classes so this actualy end up as a balancing bug (just like the combat capstone that should also proc on encounter USE but instead proc out of encounter damage... DoT too... but it is just so weak as a capston that without the bug it would be really worthless ^^')
as for the one that pointed out the LEGIT AP build THX... I actualy hope that people argiung that it is legit are really mistaken and thinking about that build rather than daily every 2 sec bug... I really hope so ^^'

25% every 10 seconds isn't bad. It would take 40 seconds to fill it.
Since works on everyone you're healing it's a pretty sweet perk, but gamebreaking it is not. In pvp the fact it works outside of combat with everyone in full health makes you a walking talking sigil of the devoted with exactly the same issues..

This.
Basically, AP regen boost without that broken synergy between the off-hand and the DoT dailies is a) legit, b) way less powerful, and hence c) not gamebreaking. Bugged, too, with the divine version thingas you mentioned, but a hell of a lot less AP...
...but the 4-second-daily "build" is clearly a bug, and using it is an exploit. And should IMHO be punished with a weeklong ban or somesuch. And if justice were to be served, this ban should be extended to all people who kick DCs not using it from parties. But unfortunately this won't be practicable...
That bad? Dam. Ok. That's probably not as intended. Then the question becomes this: How valid would that build be if the class feat wasn't broken?
It would be slightly better but still very dirty and way too powerful with gift of haste having no internal cooldown and the OH bonus on top of that. If it was fixed and doing what the tooltip says it would still be very broken. Probably one daily for the whole team every 5-7s or so and the diamond filled even when AP gain is supposed to be impossible (like during villain's menace or hallowed ground).

Tho you point a finger at it gift of haste properly respects no AP gain during dailies. As said it already works (divinity nonwithstanding perhaps) according to it's tooltip. No bugs there. Furthermore the other bug in no way needs or even interacts with the feat. Rather rendering it obsolete if both are in play. There is no reason to muddy the waters by lumping together these two powers.
This game has a relatively lower number of feats/powers than other MMOs, and the effects are applied in simpler ways. There just shouldn't be as many issues are there are with broken character abilities.

Nope, I get gifts of haste from multiple clerics during my hallowed grounds in wod during dragon kills. Which means that 2-3 AP cleric with gift of haste will still be an issue in raids like tiamat (once they give us a proper private queue) or in HEs. Gift of haste needs an ICD on the receiver.

I'll stand corrected. Hadn't tested on instances with multiples, and you caught me out Hope we get a fix that doesn't make it unviable for other content. A spread out cooldown, something in the order of no more than 5-10x per 10s would be nice, but more of an hassle to implement.

A SM GF in a permanent state of damage immunity (Steel Defense) and CC immunity (Villain's Menace), no problem.

Looks like the AP gain mechanic isn't WAI after all.
