Action Point Gain Clerics, are intended mod 6 build!

look been checking over things going over the Action point build and it is a legit build, tested in multiple 2k dungeons, and even with the AP cleric most people cannot beat the Epic Grey Wolf Den, so ran it several times with several different types of clerics and the only clerics to even get close to helping us beat Epic GWD is Action point clerics, so im tired of hear the clerics are using a bug, when it is simply the right build with the right offhand weapon setting for the cleric, they are doing their job, and even with them doing their job while I am shielding everyone with Divine protector, while a Gaurdian fighter is shielding me with knights valor, we still got our butts kick @ 1 point like really, so my complaint is Clerics are using what they got to help us win dungeons that are just OMG, challenging but fun, just don't mess with the new clerics please thank you Cryptic for making them like that thumbs up on that for sure

    Your asking them not to fix a obvious exploit. Good luck with that.

    So they shouldn't fix an exploit because you can't run t2 dungeons without using it.

    Daily spells becoming mere encounters or at-wills can't be intended.

    And that's the real tragedy here. It's back like when the game was in open beta, and the group norm was "exploit or get kicked".

    I'm glad I run with my guild all the time...it certainly sucks to have to be looking for randoms to group with given this mentality now.

    With an AP DC, I can cast dailies faster than encounters. I seriously doubt that this is working as intended.

    People said the same thing back when T2 dungeons were hard for most people.

    "Obviously running and dying at campfires is legit play, otherwise, we can't beat the dungeon!"

    "Obviously jumping up onto ledges and glitching the bosses is legit play, otherwise we can't beat the dungeon!"

    Easy to determine, post how to do it on the forums.

    Post gets remove/edited = Exploit
    Post stays as is = WAI

    And my righteous DC does not even have 1 point in the offending passive, nor would I really want to use it. And it has been posted in other threads how to do it, and I think it was left in them, but not certain.

    Let's just say: I frankly doubt it's WAI when the DC fills your AP Icosahedron 3x faster than your health bar...

    ...then they'd probably not be be called "Devoted Cleric" but "Nukular Reactor",

    It IS a bug... but as I said is a bug that is already in the game since a long time... was reported multiple time (and not just during the test phase but in previous mod as well... ) and it's still there... does it make it legit? no... daes it make realistic that it will be fixed soon? no again... the best case scenario is probably they changing the class feature to do something different... since the impression they gave with all thsoe "same mechanic" bug never getting fixed is that tey actualy don't KNOW HOW to fix it... but this time it completely broke both pve and PvP for every class not just for the one abusing it

    as for the build.. it is not really a build.. is just a class feature... (actualy an off hand weapon enhancement of a class feature + 1 of 2 specific daily)... per se the class feature is one of the many... you would robably not use it since there are better option... with the enhancement as it was MEANT it would be a good option (10% action point to every memebr of the group every time you use a daily... is not really bad but not a must have either...) and the most used daily that trigger the bug is one that was already used a lot (and made it quite easy to spot the bug ^^')


    PS: how sad... with just ONE bug fix they would be able to fix at least 4 bugged feat/class feature... but the saddest thing would be if they actualy end up fixing this and leaving all the other identincal bug unfixed... :°°°°

    I hope they leave a legit AP build, just not one that is that strong.

    it fills your AP bar in about 3 seconds. so yeah, daily every 3-4 seconds. most encounters CD is longer..

    plus the lostmouth set bug - kill elol boss in about 10 seconds, SOLO.

    Neverwinter more like Alwaysexploit

    What it is designed to do, is give your party 10% AP when the Dc casts a Daily. It works as intended for instant cast dailies like Firestrike. However, it gets confused when there is a sustained time daily like Hallowed ground, and gets into a loop of giving 10% AP gain roughly every half a second.

    Also strangely, it gives the DC caster the AP gain aswell. DCs are not meant to be able to gain AP while a daily is active,l which is a separate issue.

    It is definitely not working as intended in multiple ways, and should have been really easy to fix during the beta stage.

    What do you guys seriously expect to happen when a mod is rushed into production prior to closing out all the reported bugs, let alone given time for proper testing.

    i want to point out how wrong this comment is. hr's cd reduction is not a bug go read the feats its as intended. actually go read it.. right now... im not joking... think before you speak.

    DC action point gain is a bug and nothing else, and for those which say with out it u cant make a T2 dungeon ur just ...., get a gear and some skills and u ll make it with out a exploit..


    anyway it will be fixed shortly

    lol @ the last comment, please go read something do something on test server test your builds and read the feats 100% before hollering bug, thank you
