Excited about Mod 6 tomorrow on PC..but this is a better game on XB1.
Does anyone know when we can expect for the XB1 to catch up to PC content? I'd love to play the XB1 game, but until it's caught up I'll be playing (and spending money on) other games.
Just seems really weird to have two out of sync versions of the game existing..
I doubt the XB1 will ever be totally caught up with the PC version since it's been out nearly 2 years. Possibly, but they would have to come out with multiple modules at a time for XB1...

I think same code which runs on PC is running on XBOX. The only reason for difference is because when they adopted engine for XB1, PC game continued to change.
Most likely in 3 months all changes to PC/mod6 will be into XB1 and after that everything will be released in parallel.
Unless there are some marketing considerations - like adding new content step by step to encourage purchases.

I am no expert on the XB1 version nor have I checked any dev trackers/ blogs on the subject of XB1 content...However, this seems incredibly optimistic...would be very cool though...
Lets see, the Xb1 is currently short on 3 other campaigns (Dread Ring, Sharandar, Icewind dale) AND rise of tiamat. So IMHO, near the end of summer

They said that due to Microsoft's Certification Process for Updates, Patches, and Content, that the XBOX Server will always be behind the PC Server in terms of updates, content, and version.

Not really, Microsoft decides when games update go live on MS live so the content may be ready but MS live is not.
I have to agree with that since this is not only the first time that consoles have allowed this type of game onto their systems (a F2P MMORPG rather than the more traditional RPG with occasional multiplayer elements) and having received an update today on my console I'd say that it's probably because of the problems that system updates might cause the game so there's alot of juggling that happens behind the scenes for both teams I'm sure.

It's right in the article you linked. Although all classes previously released are currently available, the actual modules will be released some time in the future. There was another article that was more specific.

Yeah, not sure where that user is getting their information but XBOX has all content up to Tyranny of Dragons. Tyranny of Dragons will be the next module coming to XBOX.
