Rip Server?

Cannot cannot

Also noticed there's 200+ more people viewing the general discussion forum then there were 5 minutes ago, so I am guessing I am not the only one not able to connect.

Edit: Looks like they are back up now.

Edit2: Looks like they are going down, again:

[Admin] Game will be shutting down immediately to address login issues.

    Good to know. Their twitter account keeps tweeting, but I didn't notice anything about the login server being down.

    EDIT: Does anyone know of a page to check server status?

    Maintenance day. Cryptic. Yeah - you should definitely go buy more ZEN to support the service they provide.

    Yep - I couldn't even log in to the forum until now. Guessing it's an account server problem. Did manage to send a tweet - don't have a response yet though

    Now this is getting ridiculous. The Gateway is in Beta, so yes it has issues.

    However, now the game is dead after it was already shut down for 2 hours earlier today to "reboot servers" (which is a bit of a long time for server reboot according to my IT peeps). This is unacceptable, especially for a game that has been around for 2 years.
    SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! (repeat indefinitely)

    Ffs Game servers in a appalling state for months and nothing done about it. Guess it is time to move on.

    I think 8 of the 9 ppl who lost their job were server admins. Log in issues, server down, etc. When I played NW in open beta with many more players online my ping was ~70. For some time I had a ping of ~120. Nowadays its 200-400. Slow clap.
    Chars: CW, DC, GF, GWF, HR and TR.

    problems were happening even before it was happening the server would hiccuping in cutscenes and in game play. not good for a first time experience

    So when do they expect to have the servers up and running again, seen as the patch either screwed things up more or just didnt work?

    They were for me, I logged back in and so did a lot of other people.

    But they just went down again, was only in for about 5 minutes.
