I would like to start this thread as a place to bring all the discussion about the stat allocations of the new endgame gear both in pvp and pve. Many people i know have expressed discontent about how some of the stats have been allocated on various pieces of gear and would like them changed.

Since I can only really comment on the gear I have seen, the change from 3 epic pvp gear sets to 2 really limits choice. I think its quite terrible. And I'm pretty stunned to see two of the new belt are INT/CHA, severely limiting their usefulness to a select few classes. With armor sets nulled (for the moment), I wish there was a artifact set bonus that was actually viable for me.
My list of issues:
The feet pieces of armor on the new purified black ice gear have movement on them where as the corrupted feet do not have movement. The same goes for the Burning defensive gear which also has movement on the feet and the burning offensive set has no movement.
-Please get rid of the movement on the gear. It is a wasted stat since it gives so little return on it. Some classes also have more movement on their feet pieces then other classes (SW vs GWF for example is about 709 vs 250ish). Before mod 3 went live i recall the preview version of the Black ice gear also had movement on it but the Devs listened to the feedback about the gear stats and removed it.
-As @thestia mentions above, having the new artifact gear items, valindra's belt/cloak and the lostmauth belt/cloak pretty much copy the Imperial and Black Ice gear stat allocation is very sad to see. INT/CHA on both belts is especially sad. I can't see what the Tiamat's belt/cloak is (not in preview collections) but i believe (from data mined info) that it is +AC on the cloak and WIS/CHA on the belt, with the stats being power/rec/defense, aka the lathander set

Yeah i feel the same way, i don't understand why we need 2 more Artifact sets with INT/CHA. I would really like to see a new set
with DEX/STR. We need to give more choices for all Classes.
Given that I won't be able to log onto the test server the next few days - have there any new items been introduced with the current patch? I couldn't find any info on that thus far. Thanks!
no new items except the VT/LOL artifact gear sets have appeared. and the alliance assault/raid and the elven assult/ward gear has been sorted more nicely in collections. Preview Gateway will let you see what is on preview

Movement is a pretty potent form of defense.
It's really the equivalent between simply walking out of an AoE versus having to blow Stamina on it.
In some cases in PvP, it's the same thing.
I don't personally mind movement on gear, it saves enchant slots, however, it shouldn't take the place of other stats.
Broken mechanics, broken class designs, lack of actual content, and over zealous, bronze-age moderation?

that isn't stopping you from reading what the stats on the gear are and then saying things. and it wasn't a fix, they just deleted the stuff and added other things. it happened to me as well and i got over it

reading the numbers and just saying things isnt testing... actually running dungeons and parsing with ACT is testing
looking at numbers on gear and spells and just saying things is talking out of your a** you test to see of spell X does what it says or armour B gives you the stats that it says it will or the set peice does what it says it will
I mean I am happy that you can get over your toon getting broken but I spent my time to get to level 70 and resources to get teal artifacts and rank 10s. some people had more than that wasted.
your ability to "get over it" does not negate my right to be pissed about it
Hasnt regen just been reworked to boost incoming healing? How is a heavy boost to Regen going to be of primary use come Mod 6?
Heavy crit is mostly pointless as due to stealth mechanics.
Good options could be in an extremely rough order of desire:
Power
Lifesteal
Armorpen
Deflect
Defense
Combat Advantage Bonus
Control Resist
Control Bonus
Stamina Regen
The stat distributions do not align with how the class and M6 mechanics & stats play out.
I like there is a defensive option but there is far too little deflect & lifesteal and far too much regen.
Tenacity and HP are great. I think the other stats can be distributed far better.

Except for the fact that the return on it is laughable at best.
if it was 1% speed per 100 then I'd see a reason for it. but as its current level with the amount you can stack its barely noticeable. heck i'd stack max rank darks on all my utility slots then for PVP instead of just chucking in glory gain. I can almost taste the 15-20% movement. lol

we already lack any cc resist, cc break...leaving us without deflect gear is madness
