Had they announced that a CTA would be this weekend? My guess is they changed to bring it because launch was delayed?

I didn't see anything on the calendar earlier this week.

Yeah, we had this a few months back making this the third time we've had this cta. Kinda disapointing considering that there are still four non level 60 skirmishes that have yet to be turned into a cta. The weird thing is that this event didn't show up on the calendar at all previous to today.

It's not 4 non level 60 skirmishes. It's 4 left in total. The only ones not yet done are Defend the village (Rothe valley), Storm front (Icespire), Blacklake terror (Blacklake), and Aberrent assault (Whispering caverns)

I suspect it's a favor; the delay of Mod 6 launch left a gaping hole in the event calendar so they're switching this one on so we can have a little something during the null quiet period as we await the new launch date for Mod 6.

Some will spin this into some kind of negative and rant and cry purple goat pee over it.

I say kudos to Cryptic and Neverwinter Devs for even thinking of it. It's a brilliant idea and I think commendations are in order for whomever thought of it. It's positive move by the studio to keep things 'rolling along' in-game while they are all nose-deep into Mod 6 code.

Thank you Neverwinter Devs/Staff for giving us this unannounced little CTA event (and they are bringing back the *limited time* Epic Shadow Wolf in the Z Market - so that's a bonus, too).

I consider aberrant assault to be a pre level 60 skirmish due to the fact that one can que for it before they hit level 60. Other than that thanks for basically repeating what I said.

A nice thing to do by turning on a CTA , I just wish it would have been one of the more enjoyable ones lol , I'm sure some of the newer players will have fun and get the mount but I'm giving it a miss , I'm still waiting for storm front ,it's the only skirmish i missed levelling and the missing achievement is annoying .

Purple Goat Pee sounds like the street name for some kind of synthetic psychedelic drug they dump into the neon kool-aid at rave parties.

    Nice job on that hahaha
