The fact be presented, the absolute majority of premade-level grievances are from Saboteuers. It has always been Sabs. The bug-exploiting Execs certainly did not help in this overall haywire situation, but in the non-premade, PuG level grievances it's the Execs. Especially in the low-GS, low-skill level PvP the story is turned upside down as people with massive L2P issues are faced with 1-shot Executioners which they don't have a clue about as to how to handle or fight against.
Permadaze? What permadaze? It has been explained to death how the MI Scoundrels are devoid of lengthy durations of dazing because of the realities of PvP limit their skill loadout. The Skullcracker mechanic requires an offensive encounter to be slotted that is not Dazing Strike, and MIs don't get that leisure. Mechanically speaking, like mentioned in other posts Saboteuers and even Executioners can daze as long as MI Scoundrels. The only real lengthy-dazing comes from WK Scoundrels whom are like endangered species in this game, being the non-popular paragon as well as non-popular build path at the same time.. and of course, these are TRs without ITC, in no sense are these as "unkillable" as MIs.
But of course, throw out all the specifics. Let the whiney bunch take over. Let them create this fantasy image of a super-TR which is permastealth, permadaze, and 1-shot at the same time... and once this sheer folly of an attitude is set upon the minds of the lazy individuals, it's simply downhill from there.

Yep. Scoundrel was always the weakest link in PvP and PvE except for the minor support benefits dazing could provide. However, it never came close to the increased capabilities of damage + survivability from Sabo/Exe. Even then, the due to the nature of unmitigated damage from Sabo & the free stealth refill, it has been superior to exe as well, even if losing slight damage potential in some situations. One could imagine next mod the gap between sabo and exe will only get wider as overload slots are introduced in addition to the lack of regen. There will be no need to try to get massive spike damage over time when you can already get great damage with increased survivability.
However, that being said I would be interested to see what Exe can do with off-hand sneak attack bonus in addition to rank 4 sneak attack/skillful infiltrator (since their capstone already has an effect like tenacious) as far as survivability if even more movement speed was added to rogue for rank 4 passives.

You don't pay very close attention do you? If I wanted to "pretend to be good" I would have been playing a plague fire MI saboteur or executioner, but I instead deliberately chose the weakest TR and that was the WK scoundrel. I want to have fun and be challenged and feel as if I can contribute and be effective and I will main a TR and now I am left with only one path to go and that is the sab (since the other two are now effectively neutered).

My kill death ratio is less than 2:1, but this is largely because of the matchmaker as I am 95% of the time on one side or other of a steamroll. If I am on the losing side I will not sit at the campfire and play girls scout and I will continue to play on and be repeatedly slaughtered. If I am on the winning side I will allow the enemy uncontested kills on me so that they can at least get some kills/executes out of a bad matchmaker. I have a rather generous johnson and some broken and easily manipulated scoreboard is not necessary for me to feel like a man.
Myself and even more so mirrorballs and morenthar and other TR and even other classes have posted reasonable and viable corrections ot the broken issues and instead of them being heard by the devs it was those such as yourself crying about losing to a TR but not even understanding what type of tr it was you were losing too or why you were losing. The devs solution was to make the weakest of the TR entirely useless while not even addresssing what the real problems were. It is now my goal to prove just what we have been saying and to bring to light what the real problems were since all our numerous postings on this matter were ignored and insulted by those such as yourself and dismissed as protecting something that did not exist.

I play the same way i try my best to hold mid most of the time am alone as other feel that standing 4 on home base is the best option when the other team has 2 bases making my ratio far less then it could have been.
I stand idle if my team is alot better to give the match a more even character and avoid slaughter whish ofc makes the kd ratio also worse that those inclined to take part in such childish behavior.

As you can see I have not argued against you in your post earlier to my knowledge but when it come to morethear and mirroballs(kweassa) I can dig up 10 post for each such post you claim where they defend Trs and more or less tells people that they are just bad and needs to l2p. Kewassa is especially knowed for post when he calls everybody for idiots with no clue what so ever.
I have several Tr friends discussing builds and tested against them in iwd to know exactly what I am talking about when it comes to broken stuff in the Tr class and all 3 path has enough of them if used with right set up/gear even if 2 types of builds stands out.
That you now decide to enter the most broken builds to abuse it so you can kill all these *whiners* at lesure with an already broken class just proves you as players.
Myself put my gwf on the shelf during its hights with bleed and roar, i stopped playing my hr during module 4 when it was to good to offer a challange for the sole reason i dont want FoTM and I do like something that resembles balance.
Never in my life would I ever consider making an invisble Tr in pvp to run around killing of other players feeling immortal pretending to be good in something that isent even a challange.
My suggestion to you if you feel the need to slaughter other *whining players is to by some pc game use the cheat codes to run around immortal and pretend you are good there instead.
The very idea of joining pvp with such a broken class with these new broken builds of yours to *join the slaughter* would be repelling to most and that you enjoy the idea says all it need about you....
The biggest problem is the damage.
Tone down the scaling on some skills, add diminishing duration on Daze, and reverse the stealth nerf. Now we have a striker that excels in its role while still being counterable.
The damage on certain skills is too high. This is even more true with the lack of defense stats. Lashing Blade is literally chunking tanks. This shouldn't be happening. Lashing Blade's damage is fine the way it is but defense and tenacity aren't doing enough. Those stats needs to be fixed anyway so whatever.
Daze is a constant problem because once the TR dazes you once, the only way to get out of it is if they screw up. A single hit procs the passive and begins the process. It's currently not counterable. A solution would be to either reduce the base duration or add diminishing durations. Example: Hit with Dazing Strike, dazed for 4 seconds. Hit again with Dazing Strike, dazed for 2-3 seconds. So on until the effect is completely resisted.
This would prevent permanent stunlocks while still allowing the effect to be relevant to the TR.
Reverse the stealth nerf. Specifically, the sight on attack nerf. It's unnecessary for two reasons:
A) Attacking during stealth already drains stealth. We're not able to permanently provide solid DPS from Stealth like we used to. We have to more carefully choose how and when to attack, at least in PvP Stealth is also the TR's main defensive attribute. DC's have heals, GF's have block, CW's have cc, etc etc. The unique mechanic of TR provides mobility and defense. Right now it doesn't really provide either.
The stealth nerf didn't achieve any balance. It simply gave people a way to counter TR. The ironic part is that the stealth nerf was only useful to people who didn't know how to counter TR. So, really, it was just a nerf to appease the casuals. And empirically we can see how well that worked.
Permastealth isn't new. Countering a permastealth TR wasn't that hard in Mod 4. The only difference is that now it's easier to maintain permastealth but the counters haven't changed at all.

If DAZE duration were to be lessened I'd suggest only doing so for the Saboteur and Executioner Class - leave Scoundrel DAZE as is, they sacrifice quite a bit of DPS for this.
I hear you, but if you consider the DPS difference (generally speaking) of Sabo / Exec vs Scoundrel you'll understand what I mean - as a Scoundrel I cannot 'melt' my opponent away in a couple of seconds as a Sabo / Exec. Generally, it takes a Scoundrel Rogue considerably more time to defeat an opponent - my experience anyway.
For those of you that don't seem to quite understand the implications of the scoundrel nerf, let me explain a bit. The scoundrel capstone will now actually make the most commonly used encounters perform worse. Yes, that is correct it will make them perform worse than they do at default and worse than they do for the sab and exe. For the scoundrel (the daze TR), dazing strike, smoke bomb (and on the rare chance they use shadow strike from stealth) will be less effective on the scoundrel than these same powers will be for the sab and exe. Now I like a challenge but tell me why I should stick with this path since I was already visible 95% of the time (the major complaint people had against the TR was they were invisible but give them one they can almost always see and it gets nefed), did far less damage than the other paths, and less damage than other classes -- including damage build dc's?

yup thats the philosophie by lots of players, and thats one of the reasons, beside matchmaking mixing maxed chars with HAMSTER players that don´t invest a dime for pvp equip, why PVP in NW is such a waste of time mostly

The reason for many of our apparent vitriol and frustration is that it was us TR that identified the problems and tried to bring it to light to the devs, but it went unheard and our voices were drowned out to the point that all the devs heard was "nerf scoundrel" and it was nefed to such a degree that it will now be worse to pick the capstone than not to, and yet the better dazing path still exists -- the one that caused the most complaints but was incorrectly identified and the one we pointed out and explained why it was the way it was. I will still remain a WK and will not choose the MI route so I don't have the invulnerability or escape capability (oh and the WK was also nefed in that its ranged dot at will is less damage than the ranged at will one gets in the tutorial phase of the game and also less than the DC FotG and other ranged classes dots) but I cannot choose a path that has a capstone that actually makes me perform worse than without it.

Your kd ratio was not up for the board it was that the dc would have a better one than trs.
I play the same way i try my best to hold mid most of the time am alone as other feel that standing 4 on home base is the best option when the other team has 2 bases making my ratio far less then it could have been.
I stand idle if my team is alot better to give the match a more even character and avoid slaughter whish ofc makes the kd ratio also worse that those inclined to take part in such childish behavior.
As you can see I have not argued against you in your post earlier to my knowledge but when it come to morethear and mirroballs(kweassa) I can dig up 10 post for each such post you claim where they defend Trs and more or less tells people that they are just bad and needs to l2p. Kewassa is especially knowed for post when he calls everybody for idiots with no clue what so ever.
I have several Tr friends discussing builds and tested against them in iwd to know exactly what I am talking about when it comes to broken stuff in the Tr class and all 3 path has enough of them if used with right set up/gear even if 2 types of builds stands out.
That you now decide to enter the most broken builds to abuse it so you can kill all these *whiners* at lesure with an already broken class just proves you as players.
Myself put my gwf on the shelf during its hights with bleed and roar, i stopped playing my hr during module 4 when it was to good to offer a challange for the sole reason i dont want FoTM and I do like something that resembles balance.
Never in my life would I ever consider making an invisble Tr in pvp to run around killing of other players feeling immortal pretending to be good in something that isent even a challange.
My suggestion to you if you feel the need to slaughter other *whining players is to by some pc game use the cheat codes to run around immortal and pretend you are good there instead.
The very idea of joining pvp with such a broken class with these new broken builds of yours to *join the slaughter* would be repelling to most and that you enjoy the idea says all it need about you....

Tone down the scaling on some skills, add diminishing duration on Daze, and reverse the stealth nerf. Now we have a striker that excels in its role while still being counterable.
The damage on certain skills is too high. This is even more true with the lack of defense stats. Lashing Blade is literally chunking tanks. This shouldn't be happening. Lashing Blade's damage is fine the way it is but defense and tenacity aren't doing enough. Those stats needs to be fixed anyway so whatever.
Daze is a constant problem because once the TR dazes you once, the only way to get out of it is if they screw up. A single hit procs the passive and begins the process. It's currently not counterable. A solution would be to either reduce the base duration or add diminishing durations. Example: Hit with Dazing Strike, dazed for 4 seconds. Hit again with Dazing Strike, dazed for 2-3 seconds. So on until the effect is completely resisted.
This would prevent permanent stunlocks while still allowing the effect to be relevant to the TR.
Reverse the stealth nerf. Specifically, the sight on attack nerf. It's unnecessary for two reasons:
A) Attacking during stealth already drains stealth. We're not able to permanently provide solid DPS from Stealth like we used to. We have to more carefully choose how and when to attack, at least in PvP
Stealth is also the TR's main defensive attribute. DC's have heals, GF's have block, CW's have cc, etc etc. The unique mechanic of TR provides mobility and defense. Right now it doesn't really provide either.
The stealth nerf didn't achieve any balance. It simply gave people a way to counter TR. The ironic part is that the stealth nerf was only useful to people who didn't know how to counter TR. So, really, it was just a nerf to appease the casuals. And empirically we can see how well that worked.
Permastealth isn't new. Countering a permastealth TR wasn't that hard in Mod 4. The only difference is that now it's easier to maintain permastealth but the counters haven't changed at all.

i also hate these faithfull DC builds that make some games redicules, so i specced rightous, but atm playing warlock all time
noone that aims to have mostly all classes, but wants to tell me he is forced to exploit the most broken tree of the most broken class in game is worth any kind of respect ! you have tons of options left

Perma daze is too ******ed considering how the enemy is no better than a jumping dummy.
Likewise, I hope they add a 2-3 sec timer between blocks for GF and shifting for everyone else.

I hear you, but if you consider the DPS difference (generally speaking) of Sabo / Exec vs Scoundrel you'll understand what I mean - as a Scoundrel I cannot 'melt' my opponent away in a couple of seconds as a Sabo / Exec. Generally, it takes a Scoundrel Rogue considerably more time to defeat an opponent - my experience anyway.
Yep because block is 360 degrees and shift last as long as hide or itc oh wait it dont .....

If you liked a challange you wouldent really play tr in nw pvp its fotm nm compared to other classes nm path, if you want the easy rode slaughtering *nab whiners as lesure* as another path because you can and that already OP path you have got slight nerf and you dont like the idea of not being able to play god in pvp well whats more to add.
God luck facing the other tr dc and cw in pvp only that now it will be 3-4 tr /team instead of 2-3 hope you have fun.......

yup thats the philosophie by lots of players, and thats one of the reasons, beside matchmaking mixing maxed chars with HAMSTER players that don´t invest a dime for pvp equip, why PVP in NW is such a waste of time mostly
I your reference wasent to me it refered to compare dodge getting 2-3 sec idc to gfs block getting 2-3 sec idc the differance is that block is to be compared to hide not dodge as gf has no dodge mechanics but then again defending Tr mechanic you will always end up with the short stick for the sole reason you are always wrong doing it.....
You didn't read what I even posted did you? I have always mained a TR, but also have two gwf and two DC as well. I play what I like and I seek the more challenging builds in the path that still are capable of performing the role the class has. A WK soundrel was hardly the fotm and you know that. Now that the scoundrel capstone (or let us correctly identify what it now is and that is "crapstone") will make powers perform worse than they do at default (i.e. if you don't choose the capstone these powers will be better than after you choose the capstone) I will not play that path. I cannot see how you would consider that a "slight nerf", care to explain?
Um, yea. The mechanics are fine.
The problem isn't mechanics or even stealth. The problem is some scaling, some feats, and how negligible defensive stats are.

Even a big nerf isent goint to change Trs Opness in PvP as the base mechanics for defence while still being able to kill creates an imbalance that only great gs can overlap. As long as I play perfect and cant outheal an Trs damage I will depend on the Trs misstake to win more then my skill.
This is the basis to what makes Trs god in pvp they simple can not be beaten unless they are surly outplayed or have tons of less gs.
Now Mr Suddenlyslow I find no plesue in this discussion with you as you as up to now clearly have showed both good behavior in both pvp and postings. If there are some good and deacent Trs still ingame you would be one of them, which ofc would make it the more sad to see you joining the abusing side.
As it stands and as I said earlier it wont matter much if they launch module 6 with all these buggs and let Tr carry on like last module in pvp.
The pvp will die fast with a few struggling bis made premade and hard to die dc in the mist of Trs in pugs.
The reason for many of our apparent vitriol and frustration is that it was us TR that identified the problems and tried to bring it to light to the devs, but it went unheard and our voices were drowned out to the point that all the devs heard was "nerf scoundrel" and it was nefed to such a degree that it will now be worse to pick the capstone than not to, and yet the better dazing path still exists -- the one that caused the most complaints but was incorrectly identified and the one we pointed out and explained why it was the way it was. I will still remain a WK and will not choose the MI route so I don't have the invulnerability or escape capability (oh and the WK was also nefed in that its ranged dot at will is less damage than the ranged at will one gets in the tutorial phase of the game and also less than the DC FotG and other ranged classes dots) but I cannot choose a path that has a capstone that actually makes me perform worse than without it.
