what he can do is he uses his brain, he can change that the tenebrous will procc 1 by 1 at a difference between them
so i have 7 tenebrous on offense.
so every 10 sec i get 1 procc from one of them, so in 1 min and 10 seconds i get 7 proccs from each tenebrous, but guess what? its a good idea and it will be ignored by devs. resulting that the first tenebrous that procced will have 1 min cooldown.
so they wont burst at the same time
1sttenebrous procc and gets 1 min cooldown, after 10 seconds you get the 2nd tenebrous to procc and 1 min cooldown and so on, the idea is that they wont procc at the same time, but they will have an interval of 10 seconds between them, it wont have the same burst damage. but will gentleman crush make it that way? or it will be gamebreakin like everythin else

This actually isn't a nerf to the overall throughput of the Tenebrous. The cooldown and value of any number from one to seven Tenebrous enchantments remains 100% unchanged.
For this to be true if you have 2 or 7 that has an idc of 20 sec all must proc in a circle of 20 sec. That meaning each enchantments has a 20 sec frame to proc no matter how few or many you have on your offencive slotts.
What my guess is that they put a idc where they dont look on echother but just look if their been a proc and after each proc non can proc before a certain time has past. If the idc is 20 sec(more 30 from my log) that means one proc all others goes on a cooldown for the same amount of time making it useless to have more then 1 at a time.
This is exactly what I want crush to confirm. I am not a programmer but I know enough to see that whaterver loop they made is sloppy enough not to take into account the use of several tenebrouns and make them look at eachother but just the last proc.
On preview, I have 5 greater tenebrous, it procs about once every 20 secs for about 1500 dmg (have some 40k hp) on my warlock. I take all but one off and again, same 20 sec proc time, same amount of dmg.
its actualy great we have enough of no skill required auto proc stuff ingame.

Yep, I tested 5 Tenebrouses - the same sad result of 1 proc per 20 sec. I think something like 1-2 sec break between procs was intended and tenebrous mechanics is definitely broken now coz it really makes using more than 1 Tene useless.

What did change however is their burst potential.
Originally they could all fire simultaneously, providing an incredible burst of damage before going on cooldown. Now multiple tenebrous will fire sequentially while still maintaining their unique cooldowns. This reduces their burst threat while making them a fairly flat DPS boost. This puts them roughly in line with Radiants in *most cases* (read: Tanks will probably still find them to be a better dps boost overall).

So instead of spreading the proc over and period of time they fail and break the enchants totaly due to inferior coding and you congratulate them for a good job. Let me guess your not a tank and you have no tenebrous..... and are not very smart either.

if you want to use something that is IMBA or broken taking advantage of that... maybe you are the one not so smart..

Now stacking crit apren or power in offence or tene will have a very different outcome depeding on class and hp.
If you play around with alot of dott that can crit and are buffed by power like sw tene in offensive slotts will do you no good.
Same goes for most builds for cw as the total damage from tene would be far less over a 20 sec period of time.
Now cw tr hr conq gf destro/insti gwf and sw can offer some nice burst damage but paladin and sent gwf has non neither does non conq gfs.
Having high base damage or being able to build dott/aoe builds will make tene a poor shoise indeed and I go so far to say that in a non pvp scenario would suffer using them.
But for tanks without the possiblilty to use dott/aoe or high damage at wills/encounters it was a nice shoise.

damage done in % of health always has been a plague in every game i played.

No problem, it's still a good offense enchantment to have for 1 slot. Besides I believe it does not work as intended atm on preview, judging by gentlemancrush's post.

Whem mod6 was showed on preview tene was shooting all enchants together for a totla damage of 30.000... so then it was a mast have.. now is ok, as is an addition..

the enchantement is strong in PVP dealing passive damage, tanks or helpless classes that are controlled over and over by other classes can deal damage by slotting these enchants
call it no skill or call it selfdefence , or smart in times of perma-daze and -stun and -root and -freeze
now proccing only one time in 20 seconds, it doesn´t make sense to take more than one, so tenebrous enchant in this state is ineffective if not fixed, right?
Well I hope they fix them before live since I bought some for my SW as it does necrotic and it's the one, ONE thing SW has going for it that the favored son classes don't. Also, the new weapon enchants debuff power now, so radiants will take a hit.
halving the proc damage to compensate the double hp would already be great.

What they need to do is turn this into a FLAT damage and the % becomes a CHANCE to proc.
Tenebrous could be changed to 10,000 damage. With a % chance to proc, adding more % just increases the % chance it will proc the 10k damage (like Feyblessing or Dragon Hoard do).
Then you can put the ICD back to ~6-8 seconds however make it a HARD 6-8 seconds.
Now the enchants are better for PVE DPS than currently, they are not worthless at all for PVP but more balanced...

OF course, the exploiters are a tad upset about it, if they paid AD , refined HAMSTER and had loads of these ready to roll with.
