    hm more damage less lifesteal... everbody will play a DC

    Your off the cuff rejection of pve proves that all you really care about is pvp and screaming doom at the top of your lungs.

    I made no off the cuff rejection of pve. I made no statements such as "I don't care about pve", in fact I engaged in discussion about how mod6 lifesteal change may or may not affect sw in pve. You reject any kind of similar discussion of pvp because "you dont care about pvp". Lets stop talking about talking and instead talk about the issue at hand: how lifesteal changes will affect sw in mod6 in the game as a whole. You are derailing the thread.

    Interestingly enough, I felt like my warlock was an immortal God in preview.

    Tankiness from high HP + borrowed time regeneration + dark prayers, life drinker negation enchantment.. which equates to over 30% Life steal if built properly and some solid survival overall
    medium dps with high burst dps with tyranical threat
    Healing ability from temptation tree.

    As the current state of mod 6 i believe wizards do everything better than EVERY OTHER WARLOCK OTHER THAN THE ONE I JUST MENTIONNED
    -More damage
    -More control
    -Higher survival (Shield + control + dodge = survival)

    In my opinion this is a design flaw, a big reason locks were good DPS in pve was because of accursed diabolist set bonus. We don't know yet but if we don't get an armour with similar bonus in mod 6 then say goodbye to your Fury hellbringer being top DPS. And with life steal changes it's not going to be 'hellbringer' but 'being in hell' for you guys taking hits and not being able to mitigate then trough life steal where wizards control these mobs to begin with

    @denvald, my point exactly.

    But you know what guys, if they give us dual spec/inventory loadouts, swapable out of combat (free of charge, not that respec bs we have already) then I won't mind. I can then use Soulbringer Fury/Temp + tanky build + lifedrinker + negation for 'solo' content and Hellfire Fury dps 'chants and stuff for party stuff. Otherwise there's a serious design flaw as you say, if i have to spec properly just to do my dailies, then there's clearly something very wrong.

    Responding to what you think I want to hear rather than responding to the issue at hand and the questions raised, is not only off-topic, it is offensive. You keep on this line of thought about you and me rather than the issue at hand the questions raised which tells me that to you this is something personal.

    The point is to discuss how changes to lifesteal will affect sw in mod, why do you continue to derail the thread by trying to make it personal and posting constantly off-topic posts?

    Please stop trying to make this personal, please stop posting off topic comments.

    We were not immortals in the first place, if there is such a class that is already taken by the great weapon fighter. Also you say people need to party up more and that is a good thing. Well honestly when I do quests I do not want a party because it breaks several of the leveling up quests. Most people should not need to join parties when leveling up except for dungeons. If you need a party to get through every quest something has gone very wrong. I love to do quests with a party with other adventurers but this does not work for every situation and there are less and less people on line lately.
    By the way why does damage per second matter? All classes use it anyway the unstop able great weapon fighter uses damage per second as much as any control wizard. However let us be honest you can not always find a reliable one. Many people get bored with the great weapon fighter after a while and leave. As for the role of damage per second for the scourge warlock you make them sound like a a copy and paste control wizard with powerful lifesteal to keep them alive. If this is the case we should just go back to the old days when all you had was mage, rouge warrior and cleric in games. What bothers me about all this though is they make a class try to get people to buy booster packs for it then destroy the class two or three mods later. You say people will play smarter? No what will happen is frustrated people will just leave the game for something else. Adapting to arbitrary changes is a waste of time since nothing valid was added to improve game experience. My friends with trickster rouges and clerics for example left the game after their classes were destroyed. I am all for adapting but nerfing a core stat for a class and telling them to adapt? There are better games out there and many players are giving this up to find them.
