Mount Upgrades

I have a question, that I have been unable to find the answer to in the forum archive with search.

Are the Mount Upgrade books transferable between characters on the same account?

I know they cannot be sold.

I need to know, because I have be having one of my alts saving up for the final upgrade for my Sleigh mount, and don't want to waste 1.4 M AD.

    I would buy it on the character you want to use it on to be safe. If you can't sell it there is a good chance it's btc.

    Use the ZAX to transfer the AD to the character where you want the upgrade.

    Also be *extremely* careful while you're making the upgrade because I've seen more than one person say the book was consumed on a different mount than the one they intended.

    Charononus - Unfortunately, my main character would take several months to get that amount of AD saved.

    Beckylunatic - ZAX? As for upgrading the wrong mount, not a problem. Only one mount per character.

    As long as your characters are on the same account, just make a lowball offer to buy a pile of Zen on the exchange (Zen/Astral Diamond Exchange... it's like our personal stock market code) and then cancel it and withdraw the AD on your main.

    Don't you have to worry about someone taking you up on the offer before you cancel it, or can get on with the main character?

    If you post an offer to buy Zen at 50AD each when the going rate is 500AD each, not in the slightest.

    Good point.... Can I safely go 280 AD each Zen? I need to transfer over the 5000 Zen limit. (1.4 m AD)

    You can safely go anything a few AD under what the current requests to buy say. 280AD is very safe right now.

    You can also make multiple offers, up to five, and cancel them all at once.

    UPDATE: Worked as advertised. Thanks Beckylunatic.

    I am very happy with the much faster speed, just wish updated Mounts had new looks too.

    I believe if they did, they would have more people upgrading mounts.

    Yea it happened to me, lost a mount upgrade to rank 2 book.. Posted a ticket yet nothing was done in my case.
