Using keyboard locks up the game

I have a strange problem that has appeared after the latest patch NW.35.20150203a.5. I can launch the game and load it just fine, but when I press any key on the keyboard, the game simply locks up. The mouse works fine as I can spin my view around in game, but press any key on the keyboard and lock up occurs. Is anyone else having this problem?

Probably not related but just in case as having an improperly calibrated gamepad plugged in to your PC can cause movement issues in Neverwinter when using a Keyboard/Mouse: Do you have a gamepad plugged in? If so, try unplugging it and restarting the game.

No, I do not have a gamepad plugged into the PC. It's just the same old wireless keyboard and mouse that I have used for years. I tried plugging in a wired keyboard and still it locks up as soon as any key is pressed.

Very strange. Please file a Support Ticket (not a bug report) here. Be as detailed as possible.

Update. I can now use my keyboard in game without it locking up, but only if I launch Neverwinter directly (ie not going though Arc). For some reason every time I launch Arc the problem above occurs, but launching Neverwinter.exe directly there is no issue.

I wonder if it has something to do with the hotkey in ARC to bring up the overlay?
