Close to the Crown: End Bosses run off - cannot finish

I will have a video showing this soon.

EDIT/UPDATE:

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOGOUT AND WAIT.

Steps:
  1. Leave the instance - I chose to run back to beginning
  2. ABANDON QUEST
  3. Re-take Quest
  4. Able to Finish without Logout and 0 CD time

I tried just logging out to char screen beforehand and it did not work.

Possible fluke, but happened.

Video Soon

I was stuck on this quest today also, the fix posted above finally solved my problem--completely logging out of Neverwinter and restarting the game got me on my way. Thanks for the heads up Khorbahn and hope this helps anyone else stuck on this quest.

Just FYI - This will be my last Post on this Issue, unless this does not work

I started a fresh Character and the first run through gives the same result.

This Post is part of me letting the Instance Reset, and re-testing this Theory.

Thought we had it. Re-rolling into other Classes DID NOT PRODUCE THE BUG

    Here are the results:
    • 1st found with Ranger Char
    • Re-played or played as GWF, CW and DC - NO ISSUE
    • RE-rolled back to Ranger - BUG RETURNS

According to the Pattern so far - it appears to be a Class Issue with Ranger.

Nah, it's not a Ranger thing. I did it with my GWF and another GWF in the party. Happened once, so we went back to the start and left the instance. Came back in and it a happened again. We abandoned the quest and re obtained it. Then we also put away our companions. That seemed to work.

Is this the one in the burning building in Blacklake? That one always crashes on the boss battle for me (no matter what class I am running) unless I have the graphics down to the bare minimum.

It happened to me today for the first time ever.
I was starting a new Scourge Warlock.
I was going to log out, but decided to try to walk back
and exit through the entrance and then re-enter.

This worked for me and the bosses were, where they were supposed to be.

Yes, but I've haven't had a graphics problem...yet - i've run Neverwinter on multiple Laptops with recc settings. Try turning off 'Bloom' - that might be the only change...... might.

how long did you have to wait? did it auto-reset? or did it have a CD?

I tried that first but it didnt work - but - I went right back in without waiting.

    THANKS FOR HELPING EVERYONE!

As far as I know, I didn't have to wait.
I just left, stood couple secs, thinking what happened, then went back in.

Just encountered this myself tonight, can't figure out any reason why it happened to bug that run. Male chromatic dragonborn SW for any dev's looking to try to reproduce.

In some other thread about this issue, somebody said it stopped happening to them when they dismissed companions. Dunno if that helps.

I did have my erinyes out.

Just reran and didn't use killing flames or summon a companion and didn't have the problem. This may very well be the issue.
