$50 worth of items with first Zen purchase question

After going back into the game and finding I had lost everything and toons deleted, I have rolled new ones. Twice now I have had the above message from Admin in the game. I've bought Zen before while using my previous toons. Do I qualify still? Or is this an error? And if not an error, what is the $50 worth of stuff? I can't seem to find a list.

    Okay! A few things.

This promotion is not retroactive. After they began it, everyone, regardless of how much they had bought before, would Ce had to buy another 10 dollars to qualify. STEAM PURCHASES DONT QUALIFY! Just warning. A lot of people use Steam and then wonder why they didn't qualify for charge rewards or promotions. You HAVE to use the Arc website.

Here is a list of things included in the first-time buyer's pack. THIS IS IMPORTANT: Once you qualify for the pack, it gets mailed to the first character you log on and will bind to them IIRC. Make sure you log in to the character you want to claim the pack on! Some of the things in the bag will bind to account, but will bind to character when used.

If you destroy anything from the pack, or delete the character you bound the war dog companion to, you can't get it back! So make sure you're putting it where you really want it!

No idea. Do you have another account you haven't bought Zen under? I occasionally get them for my spare account I never use.

No, just the one account. As I said before though, all my toons etc had been deleted, so it was like starting from scratch. I wonder if this is why

Here's my reply about this from the Promotion thread:

Very strange. When it happens again, you may want to file a /bug report in game then with details on time/date and a copy of the chat output, so they can look into it. You could also file a GM ticket with the exact chat output and ask them for any details on that promotion.
    Safe travels,

It is account based. Thus, if you created a new account, you are entitled to the extra items. If you didn't, you aren't, regardless of what you did with your account (deleting characters doesn't count).

Also, if you lost everything in the game (by being "hacked"), you can open a support ticket to get your stuff (characters, items etc) back, but you will lose all your new stuff...

I stopped playing about 3 months ago. I did contact support about everything missing and they told me it had been too long for a rollback to occur.

Keep trying, they can do it. I've had it done. You just really really have to push support because they will try to tell you no. Basically treat it like you're trying to cancel aol in the 90's.

*chuckles madly* I know this frustration all too well... after more than 6 months of free service trying to get us to stay, we finally cancelled it. Then 6 months later, we find out that they have been continuing to charge us for those 6 months we officially cancelled. We contacted a lawyer, he told us what to say, and not even a week later, our CC was reimbursed.

Yeah I experienced this in other games. The stock first response seems to be no but if you push things get done. It's why I try to avoid customer service like the plague.

So what's the official lawyery line to be using in those situations?

This is going off topic, so I won't reply on this anymore. But... Oh man, that was decades ago! It was something like, "Our bank has records of you continuing to charge us for the past 6 months and we have a copy of our confirmation of service disconnection from before that time. We've contacted a lawyer and would like to get this cleared up before we have to pursue this as a legal matter." Basically, it was a cleverly worded threat of legal action with statements of our possession of evidence of the continued charges following a confirmation of service cancellation. I do remember him saying to not mention anything that we don't have physical evidence of, in case they decide to let it go to court. At the time we told them that, they said that they would go ahead and cancel the service now but would need to escalate it for any reimbursement. We got that reimbursement real fast. The following Monday, our statement showed they reimbursed the CC on file.
