Everyone just needs to remember that pvp is just a sidegame that was tacked on, not the main focus of the dev's. If people treated it as the sidegame chances are it would improve drastically.
same for me, PVE content was boring after 1 month, levelling frist time ok second time second char...
endcontent? there is no endcontent, and that was is called endcontent is very unchallenging and that buggy i never could imagine it would be possibel in a mmorpg
if u really want something challenging play a warlock in PVP,
the only reason i stick with this game is facing these broken HAMSTER classes TR>CW>DC>Hunter> in PVP

you are right this is a pve game right? right?
there is so much pve we should not think about pvping.
i dailies.
The game has had 1 PvP mode with 2 maps since launch. Saying that it was half-assed in at the last moment would be a huge understatement. There is not enough workforce to handle both sides of content.
Anyone who actually thinks the PvP in this game is good should go play some other games. Because they clearly haven't, ever.

Endgame content does not exist in an ever evolving mmo, since an mmo does not end unless the servers are getting shut down. However, once you are done with the current storyline and quests, the only "endgame" content there is clearly is PvP (hate to admit it)
You're using a different definition than what is common then. Endgame content as applied to an mmo, refers to the current hardest max-level content.
re-read i added two lines. Anyway, PvE can hardly be considered engame content. We are gearing up to fight eachothers in PvP, leaving PvE as a mere tool to get better stats. I am not grinding dailies to get better stats in order to clear the dread spire faster, for example. (in my opinion)
Well I disagree with you, and the success of many raiding mmo's offers a potent counterargument that you a completely wrong that the only endgame that there can be is pvp. In fact, I can't think of a single mainstream mmo where the endgame was truly pvp. Some have had stronger pvp games than others, but in none was the total focus pvp.

Then why are people even playing the game beyond 10k GS? Do we really need 25k gs to defeat draco or Malabog? Tell me, what do you do once you are done with doing PvE/dailies? More PvE? For what purpose? I don't get it.

yes i gear up to have an advantage over others in pvp but imagine if i can have fun while gearing up....it would be awesome?
as it is now this game is no pvp, is no pve, is nothing.
i log in, i do a pvp, a gaunt pvp, a tiamat on a random toon (main/alts not even for boons but for dragon eggs). log out.
my ad income in 2015 is 0.
if i really want to play a bit more 2 hours killing stuffs for rp.

That's why pve has been getting constantly worse as the game has gone on, especially now with arti-equipment. The powercreep has gotten out hand and obsoleted content while not replacing it with something that is appropriately difficult. In other games you'd do your dailies whatever they happened to be for what you'd be working on and do either (hard mode) dungeons or raids. This unfortunately is not there now in any form what so ever. This is why much of the population has left. The only thing for pve players to do is grind for ad or rp. It's a very bad place for the game right now.
I'm not sure what removing PvP from the game would achieve, sir.
I personally don't mind nice PvE runs with my friends, but in general NW PvE content is currently riddled with huge power inflation in contrast to what the PvE mobs can do, that generally there is no challenge at all.
Even with better mob strength scaling/tweaking, the mobs themselves are hardly threatening at all as the only threatening attacks ever coming from them are gigantic telegraphed attacks in big red circles and rectangles. Of the many games I've played over the years, NW is probably the most "casual" when it comes to difficulty and it often seems like the game overly caters for lower-skilled or geared player base -- almost to the extent that none of it is even needed, sir.
In a comparison, the eLoL or eLostmauth level of challenges, or any "epic level" dungeons are easier than basic dungeon content played in games like WoW, and when it comes to really 'challenging' content, stuff like Tiamat raid is a cakewalk when compared to how 25-man raids are played out in WoW or other MMOGs. Truthfully speaking, sir, I am often disappointed as to just how LOW the average skill level of the 'casual players' are in NW... eSoT for example.. how long has this been out? There are still people who do not know how Garakas fights, and its by no means difficult at all. Seeing people actually fail this because they can't avoid Garakas attacks often leaves me apalled as to just how low the skill level is...
Sirs, frankly NW treats its customers like cash-cows in a peaceful meadow, where a bottle fly trying to bite those cattle on their bums are about the biggest 'challenge' there is... and yet, the cattles drop dead from fly bites -- that's where this game is at, in regards to PvE. The PvE content is so easy that you don't need gear, or even skill in most cases, to clear any 'epic content'. In many cases those content are simply carried by one or two people who know their stuff, whilst the rest of the group aren't equipped or trained to handle anything tougher than a few trash-mobs.
It's a pity that games much, much older than NW, the games created by Cryptic themselves, used to have such fun PvE. City of Heroes, for example, had unforgiving mobs which would start off the attacks with stuff like fast activating CCs or high-damage alpha-strikes, and often a mob group had ALL of those blasted off in the same time, that even a very strong tank could drop dead instantly when it did not enter combat properly. Even it did, it required a keen sense of team play in as to how the fight was played out -- lest team wipes were common even in normal. level-up quests. It required the players to think and come up with a solution -- instead of like in NW where you can just run straight into the mobs and spam every AoE at any sequence and simply the group was cleared... that was at least challenging enough to be fun, sir.
Sirs, IMO, it's because the game's too easy, sir... and IMO PvP is the only thing NW still has going for it. There are many problems in PvP as well, but the action-packed, high-paced combat is actually fun if there are good matches...
I gotta admit that amount of positive emotions I get after winning a close PvP match (today I won one with 1000/989) is incomparable to any other happening in this game.
Tho, I'm all for removing PvP altogether, if they introduce fun PvE. Anything I would be happy to log in for. Doing PvE back in the days it was hard (beta-M2), I had fun doing it with my friends. Dungeons were boring and repetitive, but joking along the way with people you know well was the exact thing to keep us playing. And now TIAMAT FTW LMAO. None of my friends playing anymore. What's the point in playing MMO, if you can't play it with your friends? I doubt the devs know the answer.
M6 almost drains your soul given how boring it is. (c) joocycuzzzzzz

Sorry, I didn't know you signed a contract forcing you to only play this game for the rest of your life.
I would leave if i find something better in terms of mmo action pvp that is free. However i am in search right now so i stick with this.
And if you think that PvP should be removed because "it messes with pve" i strongly disagree because of several reasons.
I agree with what is most stated in this tread already about the lack of endgame pve context, with addition to the fact that pvpers side of the community is much more active and qualified then the pve only part and i think that this game would die very quickly without pvp and people interested in.
thats the reason i spend so much time here. i find the forum more challenging
The Neverwinter forum is so imbalanced though. The moderators can totally one-shot you. Nerf the mods! They're too OP!!!!
In all seriousness though, PvP while not a big chunk of the game, is part of the game. It would be a shame to lose PvP in a game with such a good combat system. Right now I've taken my break from dailies and HE grinding for PvP.
What would be awesome is if PvP was generally unranked, and ONLY ranked for events that popped every once in a while. So AD grinders and casual PvPers would know to avoid that time period and the hardcore PvPers could get matchups against equally skilled/geared players.
Can someone please explain to me why some players get so mad about a part of the game that is voluntary? Seriously I don't understand this. PvP is going to be full of big egos, trash talk, and trolling. If you don't like these things, go queue for a dungeon.

This is probably true. Tiamat made the pve crowd as bored as the pvp crowd.

My experience with pvp and the matchmaking is that you're likely to get a good match every few days, that's even worse.
